I’m glad that you consider my opinion. Thank you. I also prefer to watch movies in the cinema, and this year I've only come home twice feeling like I wasted money; it happens, in my opinion. As for the film, I believe it’s worth watching only if you appreciate dramatic cinema. As mentioned, it’s a tremendous blow for a minimal plot that doesn’t aim for originality; it’s one of those works that talks about the ups and downs of life with uncommon strength.

I, on the other hand, hated Max Biaggi. I really don't care about comics, and anyway the old man raced well again yesterday and beat Jorge Lorenzo. Not bad for a 34-year-old.

This film is nice but, in my opinion, it never takes off. As you rightly pointed out, the pacing is too slow and the plot is overly linear. The reference to Tony Blair is evident, and I must say that that artichoke of a Brosnan (an actor I find as digestible as a pepper stew in the early morning) fits in. Good cinematography, classic direction, but overall, it doesn’t leave a mark.

A friend made me listen to it, and I have to say it's a good album. There might be a few too many fillers, but it’s definitely worthwhile. I'm intrigued by the show in Salò, but I have to reckon with my wallet since I've already bought tickets for Soundgarden and Calexico.
