Doris Duke I'm a Loser
Voto:
Another superb piece of writing that describes one of my favorite soul records. Incredible that it's so little known. There's not even half a filler. All of it is divine.

Superb album, wonderfully narrated with plenty of information in a beautiful prose. I prefer it. "Granular baritone voice capable of breaking your heart." How right you are @[imasoulman]
Wilson Pickett The Sound Of

Music that I love and that I got to know thanks to your Debeserian suggestions. Not their best in my very humble opinion. Regarding the digression about suits... you have to know how to wear them @[Pinhead]

I thought it was a review of Loach's film!

The film didn't convince me. I found the first part too long and slow, but that's not the problem. The problem is that pace isn't justified. Maybe I'm wrong, but the encounters between the two protagonists are inconsistent and the dialogues are not at all brilliant. Thanks to some rhetorical narrative liberties, the second part picks up the pace. Overall, I didn't like Malek, who doesn't even have the physique du rôle. Crowe is very convincing, and I liked the cinematography, sound, and soundtrack. The glaring mistake about the invasion of Norway is strange (read "La luna è tramontata" by Steinbeck).

I had missed this review. Very nice, by an artist I definitely need to look into more—and I’ll do it right away. Hi @[Lao Tze]

Is it a typo or does it really last 210 minutes? Is it even legal? At the very least, I should go to the bathroom twice.

I haven't seen it, I never will, but your reviews are always very professional. Bye

Always precise and full of interesting points. Well done @[Confaloni]. I haven't seen the film, but you almost convinced me.
