Gamma Ray Sigh No More

The 6 comments for Heading For Tomorrow and your own so far make me think that, although you know them and they can't be defined as an underground group, in the end, not many people care about them on Debaser, so my premise isn't really that stupid. Not too much, anyway...bye.

really mediocre and repetitive album
Gamma Ray Land Of The Free

The first 3 albums by Gamma Ray a bit of a flop??? Well, for me (and a ton of critics) that's blasphemy. Just because they're harder to digest than those after Land, they're not worthy?? Come on, these are original tracks, technically monstrous, with insane breaks and an incredible power of execution. After Somewhere Out In Space, the Rays have been musically dead and live off the past, continuing to propose the same sound. I mean, I still like them (especially live), but where has the flair and genius of tracks like Dream Healer, The Cave Principle, Space Eater, Heal Me, Changes gone??? Their latest CDs are nice and well-packaged, but predictable. Land remains an absolute masterpiece, and that’s not up for debate, but please don't trash the first albums just because they require a few more listens and a certain maturity to be appreciated.

Memorable film; I walked out of the theater with a big smile, completely satisfied. I was very sorry to hear that the lead actor has recently passed away, as I found his performance outstanding.

I don't pass judgment on Gore. I only appreciate the fact that he is understandable, clear in his exposition, and addresses a theme that must be tackled and not procrastinated.

I’m doing my master’s thesis on the concept of sustainable development applied to infrastructure development (ski resorts) in a low-altitude ski area. Everyone approves of sustainable development (which would mean equal opportunities for future generations and a long-term perspective) in words, but few actually do something about it. This is a demonstration of a hypocritical and self-serving society. I saw this film. All the things it discussed I already knew, but the merit of such a movie lies in its total clarity of presentation. It’s a scientific and objective documentary that isn’t heavy to watch and can have significant informational importance. Climate change is a fact, moving our asses is too, and a non-partisan film (as it’s based on scientific data) with global production can only find my support. I would show it in schools because it’s an example of how research should be done...

A brick. This review is an illegible brick. Commendable effort, but it remains illegible.
