I share your overall analysis. It's a dispensable, long film that takes on the features of a harmless and pointless biopic. It feels like a timeline of events and doesn't delve deeply. I watched it and it didn't leave me with anything.

Hi Joe, I watched the film and as promised I’m following up. I recognize the great technical quality, especially in editing, cinematography, and really excellent sound. The problem for me lies in the overall work, which limps along. The satire on work and on competition, with workers being crushed just like nature in the final scene before the credits, is clear. The protagonist is more of a symbol, as there isn’t even a hint of psychological introspection to support him. The drama, without a full understanding of the character, and its alternation with farce is often unbalanced. One example is the fight in the room during the first murder, which ends up almost unintentionally ridiculous. The acting, far too theatrical, creates distance and doesn’t allow me to get into the story, which loses weight and substance. The hyperbolic ending à la tempi moderni seems to me predictable and excessive. We are far from Parasite, which, in my opinion, is a masterpiece and conveys class-related social criticism much more effectively. An interesting film but overall, given the premises, disappointing.

More than just a review, you have masterfully woven the context and, speaking for myself, you have introduced me to this artist and his heartbreaking story. All of it is very beautiful, and maybe this way I will appreciate this album even more when I listen to it. You have truly spent your time well.

I won't comment on the film because I haven't seen it. It has the right to exist and is mainstream. People aren't obliged to go watch it. If it's this successful, good for it and for the producers. I'm not crazy about your prose in this review. I don't like parentheses and overly long sentences, and your writing is full of them. In my opinion, this really breaks up the rhythm. I find the first paragraph unnecessary; it could have been summed up in three lines. Bye

Well, however, one could very well add that... no, just kidding. You really said it all.

The usual, thanks. I was already planning to see it and I will as soon as it's released here too. Bye

Not exactly my kind of music. I appreciate the review, maybe a bit too clinical, which talks about a band that's not very well known, even within their own genre. Well done.
