Much better the book, that one is indeed devastating.

And anyway, the Stooges' song was "I wanna be your dog," the Slayer cover was "I'm gonna be your god."

Olatunde Osunsanmi Il Quarto Tipo

A bland piece of junk, but it has a couple of gripping scenes in its favor and a certain underlying suggestion... a merit that, given the pitiful state of modern horror, lifts it from a 1.
Alessandro Baricco Mr Gwyn

Well, every time I hear you pair "Baricco" and "good book," I raise an eyebrow perplexed...

Who knows why I imagined it... ever since it came out, everyone has been praising it, so it COULD NOT possibly be anything good. After all, Public Enemy said it twenty years ago: it's better to "Don't believe the hype."

I watched them twice this year, and I confirm: TOO many pieces since the last one, which personally made me lose interest...in both cases I waited for them to play the Requiem pieces or the good old Elefante and Viba to really get excited. And then their audience I CAN'T STAND, indie posers with their DSLRs and pseudo-alternative kids... just fuck off, will you?

Absolutely worth 5 stars, 1) because it's a masterpiece, 2) because it comes after another masterpiece, and there are very few bands in recent times capable of such (I'm thinking of Jane's Addiction and Tool right off the bat, but they're not the only ones).
