First of all, my dear Dome, let me reveal to you the secret, or rather the "pseudo-secret" of the comments with different nicknames but the same IP... the solution is very simple and less malicious than one might insinuate: the PC is mine, and the comment by the nickname Unleashed, unlike my own, was posted last night by a friend who came to visit me and had the chance to read this Debaser page, writing down his thoughts after reading the various comments!
I want to clarify that there is no desire for controversy or a quarrelsome intent; I have no reason to offend you, Dome! What I wrote, and what my friend also wrote, originated from the fact that your comments are unclear in their content (although with this last comment you clarified it unequivocally 100%), and to be honest, they seemed to be written with a haughty tone and with the intent to disdain this band beyond reason and especially for free, perhaps due to some previous disagreements, or envy, or simply for the pleasure of badmouthing... in short, the comments gave the impression that the reasons for the debate were many, but not the main one, which is the music that these guys make, and I would say quite excellently!
I understand what you mean, I respect it, and I don't disagree with you from a certain point of view… but while we cannot say absolutely that this band is the best in Calabria, we also cannot claim it is the worst or that their music sucks or is poorly played… that is truly heresy because they are skilled musicians, and it's evident (the CD is clear)… then it’s all a matter of taste, of course!
However, I’m in sync with you when you say that there are bands that pretend to be rockstars and "self-promote" for no reason!
...I don’t know if this is the case with Memories and frankly I don’t care, but I recognize that some bands have that as a vice!
Anyway, I like this band; I’ve been listening to death metal and related genres since I was 16, I’m 32 now, I play in a band, and therefore I believe I have the right knowledge to understand whether a band is worth it or not, and in my opinion, this band has what it takes to make a name for itself, especially in Calabria, which is notoriously lacking in interesting bands!
