Gothic metal has been dead and buried for at least a decade. The crap being released under this label now are plastic pieces thrown to the bimbeminkia cozze very alternative and to the dead medallions that listen to or worse, buy this garbage mainly (exclusively) for the chicks squawking into the microphone.

Present at the concert! The album, as always, is captivating, but my favorite remains the monumental "Within...". And the much-anticipated return of "Anastasis" convinces me more and more; that one is beautiful too...

Hahaha... Great page as always, but I honestly couldn't digest this little homework from the two "sly foxes." The first two tracks are nice (even though a few snips here and there wouldn’t have hurt, right), but then it gets lost in inconclusive mannerisms and soporific rarefactions... Even the last one isn’t bad, but by the time it arrives, it’s already too late and my patience has irreparably melted away. Wilson's little hand (and feet) is quite heavy, while I feel Mike, his snack buddy, is really lacking in songwriting, aside from a few little arpeggios here and there, and I would have expected greater use of his (in my opinion, beautiful) voice. All in all, I think I’ll forget this little disc soon. 2.5 ||| One thing: "And we keep thinking (and we've thought so since the time of 'Damnation') that this is not the ideal dimension for Akerfeldt" ---> but how?! "Damnation" may be a parenthesis in the Opeth discography, but I find it beautiful!!

"two guys who live by killing cats" ---> I don’t think I’ll ever watch it.

I’ll keep it aside for next month, when I’ll go with my better half to Dublin. We’ll listen to a lot of nautical funeral doom metal, and Ireland will be completely submerged by a torrential flood-tsunami-catacomb-oceanic-cath edral-Poseidonraped. Nautical kisses to everyone and happy holidays.
