Well, yeah, I listen to some metal... (Pantera...) and I believe that Dimebag Darrell is great. I have nothing against virtuosity, but I think musically Sonic Youth are clearly superior to most metal bands... Regarding the fashion of the '80s, I don't agree; Italian punk was never taken seriously by anyone, and there were really very few people who went to concerts knowing they would end up breaking a few bones in the pit. For me, that was a truly sincere scene... of course, it's natural that for a hundred percent of the bands, playing is also a job, and to survive, you need to earn something!
