I think you're mistaken, this is 100% punk, and the Blink were at least until their last album. It has some pop elements (and that's why it's called pop punk) but that doesn't mean it's not punk. Moreover, MTV didn't even know they existed back then. So do you think bands like the Undertones, Buzzcocks, and Descendents aren't punk because they mix it with pop? You're kidding, right?
