Green Day 21st Century Breakdown
Voto:
Well, to be honest, I owe a lot to Green Day, since when I was little they and Nirvana introduced me to the world of real music. However, in my opinion, they have become too commercialized. American Idiot is truly a good album, but with all those radio plays and on MTV, they have made themselves hated by many. And then Billie Joe... come on, why are you dressing like an emo? Your audience is already made up of hysterical girls and people who don’t understand anything about music; if Green Day wants to present themselves as an emo band, then it's really the end. I haven't heard the album, and honestly, I don't like the first single; it's too stadium-like, too much like Queen... (and that's not a good thing). Anyway, to conclude, I sincerely hope they don’t tarnish their reputation even more than they already have.

In my opinion, the first of their albums deserve a 5, I have the version with an additional live track, really very cool.

Nirvana MTV Unplugged In New York DVD

too sappy for my tastes, however this unplugged is, in my opinion, better than Layne Staley and company’s.

I avoid reading all the nonsense you've written and I'll leave a 5 (to the album, of course).

Yes, Yosif, after some time and rereading it, I noticed that I kind of brushed over a discussion that should instead be discussed and explored more deeply, rather than written in just a couple of quick lines.
