Alright, alright. I understand why you liked this concert: because it was the first one. I was there, unfortunately. They played like crap throughout the whole concert, with the attitude of those who wanted to be somewhere else, basically playing the glorious part of the cursed poet, like Kurt during the tour of In Utero, just before he died, while the Verdena are here to annoy us again. The problem isn't technical skill... who cares how many solos they play and how complicated their riffs are. The problem is something else: whether complicated or not, they're all heavily copied and badly at that. Go listen to the song "Il suicidio dei samurai" and compare it with the ghost track from In Utero. The experiment will yield an incredible plagiarism.
God, what a shit life. From talking about Nirvana to ending up with Verdena. Anyway, just because Hitler was convinced he was God doesn't mean he actually was. Alberto, get over it!!! You're not Kurt. You don't have that certain something and you never will. Pick up the guitar and flee into the so "significant BLUE."
Anyway, guys, I suggest focusing your attention not on the single teenage-sucker but on the entire albums of Verdena. It's all the same!!!

To the publisher: smashing the shit on Verdena seems to me a right and necessary thing, but I believe it is also important and necessary to suggest an alternative. My response: vivid but not entirely. The Verdena, really, are an X in the nitrogen cycle. They don’t count for shit. Since their first album, they haven’t had anything to say, truly nothing at all. To appreciate them, you don’t need to know millions of things, like: Nirvana, Motorpsycho, Melvins, etc. Many of their melodies and riffs are copies, real plagiarism from bands that 90% of Verdena fans could not even imagine. If you see them live, outside of the pogo, given time to understand, I mean... god, they are pathetic. Nevertheless, Italian rock is not dead. In fact, in my opinion, it is heading towards death and that is a good thing. Let me explain: very, very soon records will no longer sell, and we will live off concerts. At that moment, do you think some pretentious band will try? Is there anyone who will give them a chance? I didn't go to the concert in Naples. 12 euros for the Verdena... not worth it. I’ve given them ten thousand chances and they have always, gloriously, disappointed with their bored and destroyed rock star attitudes (they're already 27, it's time). - Are you over 16 years old?
- Do you know (WELL) NIRVANA, MELVINS, MOTORPSYCHO?
- Do you know Italian bands that actually have something to say because they have something to say, like: SUPER ELASTIC BUBBLE PLASTIC, TRE ALLEGRI RAGAZZI MORTI, IL TEATRO DEGLI ORRORI, I FRATELLI CALAFURIA, UZEDA?
- How can you not think that their mother, owner of her own independent label, didn’t give them a big kick in the ass to get out of the house since they don’t have any particular talent aside from having ridiculous amplifiers? With this message, I’m not looking for confrontation. I mean, I’m not talking to people whose hearing makes my burp sound like Carmina Burana. The fans of Verdena are surely not shit-stirrers, petty little English wannabes, and things like that. The only problem for me is that they’ve started to understand the right path but can’t see the finish line due to their lack of knowledge, accepting what is already in the spotlight without thinking too much about it.
