Here, I completely agree about Discharge... but not about Exploited. They feel very contrived. If you talk to someone who was into punk back in the day, they'll tell you that Exploited, with their anthems, really annoy them.

"The Adolescents and the Descendents, I must say I don't know them well, annoy me. I like punk raw, fierce, dirty." Don't take it personally, but this is one of the biggest bullshit I've read in two years on this site. Let's see: the Descendents are just kids... especially considering the comment where you say you listen to Blink... just so you know, that's almost a shock therapy moment :) bye... no offense, okay?

Si finnegan, we’re from the same city and from the same generation... for us Descendents and Dead Kennedys were the same thing, since we couldn't find either, but I, I don't know about you, never degraded myself or stooped to listening to Blink or other similar crap... I’d rather not listen to anything at all. It’s not a matter of downloading or not downloading... it’s always the same issue: just use your brain and don’t let yourself get screwed over... and Blink apparently keeps screwing people over and people keep letting themselves get screwed.

But go to work and get out of my face. Do you have to work? Then forget about Nietzsche. And what the hell are these heart-wrenching messages? Who cares to me if your mother is a housewife and you and your little siblings can't afford the Panini album? You picked up a book, read ten pages (all the sentences you've quoted are in the first 10 pages), you had nothing to do, and instead of jerking off, you wrote this mess. Now someone can tell you to fuck off because you're clearly an idiot (or a naïve one... you decide) or should I shove Nietzsche and everything else down your throat with a spoon? Not everything is for everyone... get used to it, you’ll live better. And go back to work... don't make me worry.

Well, if you've listened to the Dead Kennedys, shift your attention to Los Angeles for a moment and listen to the Descendents, who gave life to all these miserable bands that people listen to on this Taurus. One knows about chocolate and keeps eating crap? It's not realistic.

You've really bugged me with these damn punk-pulp groups. How old are you? 12? I hope for your sake.

Here it is, true: great compactness. So much compactness that it feels a bit monolithic. For heaven's sake, it's a beautiful album, but at times it bores me a little... sure, it's nice, but...

First paragraph where I see myself... I always lend an ear to things coming from Italy, but then that ear isn't exactly cheerful. The musical Italy, just like the political Italy and all the other Italias, is an extremely clientelistic Italy... where everyone has to be friends with everyone else, otherwise you stay in the corner, where a Maurizio Costanzo of the alternative scene (meaning Agnelli) holds all the cards and speaks from the height of his major label contract. It's all quite ridiculous. With Julie's in the studio, I'm stuck at Adult Situation, which I liked back then but now I'm not so sure... I saw them live on the tour for their last album and they bored me to death... but if you say this reminds you of the Motorspycho from the mid-90s... well, I bow and seek.

Roughly speaking, I agree with Fusillo... I’d like to add that the publishing house expected to sell around 5,000 copies. Let's say that success and quality rarely meet, but when they do come together, it’s a spectacle... things that change people's lives. When Gomorra came out, I snubbed it... because the media hype repels me a priori, but once you flip through it, once you read it... well, you quickly realize how sincere Saviano is as a person. One point for everyone: Saviano is not a journalist and I believe he doesn't even want to be considered a journalist... I think he'd prefer to be called a writer.
