But what clichés? Have you ever seen a Troisi film? Yosif, from your intellectual abilities, it's clear that unfortunately, you were born outside of Campania. Go back to skinning yourself alive with the metalheads.

No, but what outcast. I assure you that after two weeks in deep Veneto, I returned to Naples in love with a place I used to hate. Having seen and experienced Veneto, I felt lucky to live in a vibrant city that makes you feel alive... you only feel alive in proximity to death, and in Naples, death is always at hand. For goodness' sake... the outcasts are those who live outside of Naples, and indeed I find it increasingly difficult to relate to people who are not from this city... I talk to them and then think to myself, "What the hell do I have in common with this person?" ...nothing. We don't romanticize crime (I won't allow you to do that... you don't even know what it's like to live with crime)... it's just that we are romantic, organic, and we keep the complete view, not just the cover and surface aesthetics. I love and hate Naples for the same reasons, but I could never live in Italy if not here.

Cpt, very briefly to you too... we couldn't care less about the problems of the rest of the nation. We're so full of problems that we now sell them on eBay. I repeat: I've lived in other parts of Italy and I'm not Italian. I'm Neapolitan. We are Neapolitans, we are special people, treated as special people by the state. A Neapolitan does not have the same rights as others, we have always been second-class citizens (go study how the funds of the Marshall Plan were distributed) so keep your second-class for yourselves because we are something else.

Alfredo, very simply and you won't understand me. A Neapolitan who leaves Italy doesn't leave Italy. He leaves Naples.

No Alfredo, it’s not like that.

I’m pleased to notice that my pages always attract a nice number of desperate souls. Alexander, good job, but be careful not to overdo it… it hurts in the end. And then there's Blackbeard. What are you? A fake, a jester, just a clown, right? Really an unfunny fake. Too bad, read The Dubliners… wouldn't want you to accidentally say something intelligent. Better than the usual farts.

"Rather than consoling the afflicted, they prefer to afflict the consulates." I completely agree and am reminded of Marcuse's words that fit perfectly: educated individuals must "help men and women enjoy their properly human capacities." And that's why I would kiss the ground where Saviano sets foot. Because he is someone who, for better or for worse, says what he sees without caring whether it’s right or wrong to say it... he simply states it, and that’s why I like him. I especially appreciate that he limits himself to describing and doesn’t extrapolate anything from the context. In fact, he’s a bit of a romantic organicist. A bit like the angry Pino Daniele of Terra Mia... in this album, there are social denunciations that all too often go unnoticed.

Rino is a piece of heart! My absolute favorite is Ingresso Libero. Djmushroom, I don't know what mushroom you ate, but it's some powerful stuff... are we kidding? Who is Bugo? They should poke him in the face with a hole.

Great, but I would suggest this country outside of Naples instead.

Rock'n Roll, thanks for the link... it's beautiful. Thank you very much. Seriously... now I have to think about it.
