Joy Division An Ideal For Living

In my opinion, "An Ideal For Living" is not an escape from Nazism. Rather, it is an escape from the reality that surrounded him, as evidenced by the fact that this record was recorded and pressed with £400 loaned to him by his wife. Let me explain: from the lyrics, from Curtis's persona, it’s clear how reactionary he was... and I am convinced that the title "An Ideal For Living," with images taken from propaganda posters, reflects the need for something, anything as long as it’s not the sad, monotonous, and massified democracy. Rather than living in the muck and boredom, it would be more exciting and vital to partake in the march on Rome, with all the consequences that entails, the horrors and the barbarities. This is the cool thing about Curtis... accepting to be beasts, but living beasts. I am especially perplexed when people attack with the discourse about how he was such a nice person and blah blah blah... he was fascinated by Nazism, Sumner called him, when he launched into his pompous speeches, "like some kind of crazed Hitler," and many people remember him as a ravenous male chauvinist who mocked the wife cleaning up after their daughter. All this is not to say he was a terrible person, but just to emphasize that to create masterpieces, you have to be a masterpiece... and I find beauty only in the inconsistencies and absolute sincerity.

Their best, for me, remains the first. With this album, I go through phases... some days I enjoy it a lot, other days it bores me... the first 4 tracks, lined up like that, are quite a punch to the teeth. It's nice that the reviews I won't write anymore, you took care of them. bye

It seems like I wrote the review based on how I set up the previous comment... but I didn't. I don't even know what this album looks like. Hi.

from the criticism? from freakout and it's quite different. honestly, I'm from Naples, I play in Naples, but I only heard them once, I didn't like them and I went to pee. that's why I hadn't commented on the review. but to talk about appreciation from the critics is really incredible, but then who cares... the important thing is that they have fun playing. that said, I'm not a "frevone" but certainly, if the positive reviews come from their patrons, it feels very much like Italian... Italian-Berlusconian, if you know what I mean.

Istat data: the rapes committed by foreigners account for 44% of those reported, which are 4% of the total (most are unreported)... a bit too little to carry on this media campaign. I thank you for the young man... the young man who lives on politics and knows perfectly well what he is talking about. I am absolutely opposed to any form of drowsy democracy; I would never kill anyone, in fact, I am incapable of any form of violence. I feel such a vast and degenerate disgust for my fellow man that I would never jeopardize even a day of my life for the pseudo-life of someone else. My heresies are merely the result of the filth in which I am forced to live... the story is over. We are all bourgeois and bourgeoisified, they have changed us... we cannot go back, so let whatever is slightly undemocratic or vulgar come. This is why I will always and forever wander the world with a sign on my ass that says DDR! I talk about symbols, about signs... not about actions. Keep your heresies to yourselves.

I have to say that I liked the review. If it were up to me, it would have ended in one line: "let's kill him and kill those who vote for him" ...he has turned politics into a joke. If you're against him, you're a "communist" ...how can I explain to him that if I disgust him and those who vote for him, it's only because I have no respect for deficiencies, mine and others'? Italy is a dictatorship that moves forward with a barrage of decrees and media propaganda (I don't understand why he complains about the newspapers since 80% are his). When Refoundation stopped representing the hotheads of the far left, and this happened a few years ago, I joyfully predicted the return of the Red Brigades... let them come back to give him a hard time, to react, to offer the only hope that a real life under this mountain of shit will move. Instead, nothing. We’re dead, actually, you’re dead and Berlusconi is dancing on your corpses.
