The lead singer of Cro-Mags, for example, claims that New York bands came late to making records (take the very first Cro-Mags record from 1986)... because they lived on the streets, in absolute poverty; some turned tricks and were forced to do so just to get by. The Washington scene was extremely wealthy, and that's why MacKaye and his associates were all focused on documenting... because they had money, girls I don't know and wouldn't bet on. That eminent critics, like Pretazzo, have thrown out nonsense is natural... it's part of their nature as jerk-offs who listen to records while jerking off to YouPorn.

It’s not about the analysis of the period or the evaluation of historical movements. What interests me is a concept as old as the world... what to do? Follow an ontologism, be skeptics of an ontologism that goes beyond the meaning of the single action, believe in coercion to good, what to make of the morality of the lords and bourgeois morality? These are all impossible questions to solve. As far as I'm concerned, anything anti-this-democracy is fine with me. The man who could speak is dead. He has been shaped and corrupted. With him, history has come to an end. I don't give a damn what others think or what is right or convenient to say. Let the young ones come back, convinced they are right... whether they are from the BR or from FN, I don’t care. The important thing is that there is someone willing to believe they are right.

I've listened to the demo twenty times, the album three, and I had to plug my nose. Damn, your messy friends are right. It sounds like Gaetano, but with a shitty voice that always sings the same lyrics over the same chords. I don't know, I imagined he was cool, but I didn't think it was an established fact. I'm discovering that today. The truth is that we listen to certain things not because they're good, but just because they sing in our language. In the 2000s, an album came out in Italy only the year before that contains lyrics that this guy is getting his ass kicked from today until the next Napoli championship... yeah, I'm talking about Teatro. Vian? Vian my ass! I don’t know, you’re wrong to form an opinion about people based on what I express regarding a "singer" like this... to each their own. I've decided that I think it sucks. Damn, that's the problem. I mean searching for "The best album of Italian singer-songwriters" ... 1) I don’t like narrowing it down with "Italian" ... often, to listen to something Italian, you end up hearing stuff that’s just overrated for that reason alone. Let’s place these blessed Italian "artists" in the global context... if we do it your way, we end up playing the game of Rockit, especially since Italian music is quite lacking. 2) I’ve never cared about this guy's music because, objectively, it’s nothing. I listened to the lyrics. The first two or three times you think, "okay," but then you realize it’s just a jumble of "smog," "high beams," and engine parts... he recycles the same concept so many times that it feels like the first Ligabue... actually, it’s the Ligabue for those who want to "be alternative" with little effort. The demo is better... fresher, more genuine, sung terribly, and therefore likable. The album, on the other hand, is unbearable. Such a drag...
