And indeed, you haven't understood a thing of what I said. I totally agree with you: I hate hyper-technical guitarists, and I love guitarists who have feeling and heart and put their all into creating something. I belong to this category, meaning I'm a mediocre guitarist who loves to move people with a slow solo rather than flashy Petrucci-style solos. When I said "I JUST NEED 2 SECONDS TO SEE IF SOMEONE IS GOOD OR NOT," I meant exactly this!!!! Since he defined himself as an avant-garde musician, I wanted to know how he sounds... and indeed from that phrase I wanted to convey just this: are you a cold guitarist who plays solos at 300 miles an hour for no reason, or are you a guitarist with heart and mediocre technique? I much prefer the latter, even if at Saint Louis I will learn both.
And on this, I hope you agree, because I have been misinterpreted (strangely...)
Second point: shall we talk about the review? You, who are a fan of Vic, why don’t you say what you think about the review and whether it’s right to write a review that throws around 3000 epithets... over to you, Vic fan, the avant-garde musician...

"Look raffomaster, true rock and roll has to be foul-mouthed, and the great myths of rock were rightly and justifiably arrogant and egomaniacal; genius is presumption and mythomania in itself, precisely because it is genius. You still have so much to learn about art, raffo."............WHAT MUST MY HUMBLE EARS HEAR? READ BETWEEN THE LINES: THE MYTHS OF ROCK CAN BE FOUL-MOUTHED, AND I KNOW PLENTY OF ARTISTS LIKE THAT. SO WHERE DOES YOUR ARGUMENT LEAD? IT DOESN'T HOLD WATER AT ALL. WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT I HAVE TO LEARN SO MUCH ABOUT ART?? I MEAN, HERE WE'RE CRITICIZING A DELUDED IMBECILE WHO SPITS OUT 3000 EPITHETS, AND THEN I'M TOLD THAT "ROCK'N ROLL MUST BE FOUL-MOUTHED AND I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ART"... BUT I SAY, WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH IT??? SURE, I’M STILL 20, I’VE BEEN PLAYING FOR 12 YEARS AND I’M GOING TO SAINT LOUIS IN ROME AND I STILL HAVE A LOT TO LEARN, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. BUT DEFENDING A TOTAL IMBECILE BY TELLING ME THOSE WORDS, WHICH HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DISCUSSION, LEAVES ME EVEN MORE PALE AND MAKES ME SAY THESE SUBSTANTIAL WORDS: YOU'RE IN MUCH WORSE SHAPE THAN ME WHEN IT COMES TO ART. THAT SAID, SINCE YOU'RE PART OF THE IMBECILE'S FAN CLUB, GIVE ME HIS WEBSITE, OR ANY LINK WHERE I CAN LISTEN TO THIS AVANT-GARDE MUSICIAN. I MAY NOT BE AN EXCEPTIONAL GUITARIST YET, BUT IT ONLY TAKES ME 2 SECONDS TO SEE IF SOMEONE IS GOOD OR NOT. SO, LET’S SEE WHERE THE HELL THIS IMBECILE’S TALENT IS: FROM THE KIND OF REVIEWS HE WRITES (AND THIS ISN'T THE ONLY ONE...) YOU CAN TELL HE'S AN IDIOT... AT LEAST I WANT TO HEAR HIM MUSICIALLY, THANK YOU.

No, he is an avant-garde musician... I would love to play with him to see if his arrogance is as great as his actual talent. That way, I would put him in his place a bit, making him understand that his foul reviews and limitless arrogance are entirely alien to music itself...........................

So, I said something very different and I'm surprised I wasn't understood. I said that Metallica are one of the greatest bands of all time, and not because they are great musicians, but because in addition to having created albums that shook a genre (without Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, and Master of Puppets, metal would not be the same at all.......) they have influenced thousands of bands with their music. Being great doesn't mean being commercial; being great means evoking emotions and drawing musical influences, and Metallica are the forefathers of metal, along with other bands from the 70s and 80s Heavy Metal scene, like Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Motörhead, and many others.
Point Number 2: The Beatles are one of the greatest bands of all time, and their style has greatly influenced music. And for the record, they don't do "pop" (incredible assertion... it's really staggering......) but rather their genre is called "British Invasion," and if we want to be more precise, they make "Beat" music (which is a term coined from their own name).
And for point 3, "Plagiarizing" means something entirely different; it means to COPY, and not to take influences. Even I, in my way of playing, have been influenced by Kirk Hammett, but I don't copy Metallica's songs... and that is even more staggering. Let's not use terms we don't understand, please.
And what the hell do Shakira and others have to do with this??? They are famous, but they don't provide musical influences. A passing phenomenon, and then no one cares about them anymore. I mean, I just don't understand how people can speak that way......

But it's normal to have some "squabbles" about music tastes, and we all agree on that because it's a perfectly normal thing. There's no single way to write reviews, but don't you think this one is vulgar and disgustingly low? It insults the music of Metallica (it's a matter of taste, of course!), but it can't just keep repeating 3000 epithets!!
I quote this from the review:
"For a musician, it should be a source of pride and satisfaction to see their work disseminated by any means, but since you are not real musicians, you probably don't think like me, a true avant-garde musician."
I mean, in addition to the 3000 epithets, is it the arrogance that reigns supreme?? I've been playing for a long time, and I say and reiterate that Metallica has had an enormous influence on metal (and also for many rock/hard rock bands), copied in every way by a lot of people!

I'm talking about myself: I go to Saint Louis, the best private music school in Italy, so I'm not exactly a failure. This isn't arrogance, it's just that saying "failed screamers" because I'm not in line with the thoughts of this pseudo-reviewer is quite wrong...
If we're talking about the Metallica album, it's normal for comments to refer to them, isn't it? So why do you say "you must be a bunch of 14-year-old idiots" if the discussion is solely dedicated to Metallica? It doesn’t make sense.
If being famous, for better or worse, means writing in the lowest ways possible, then I'll tell you this: do what you want, you're free to be wrong!
Learn from this comment, because the right way to think is this, not to insult and write pure crap just because we (rightly) criticized this reviewer.
Bye Bye...

So, I went to this concert and I had a blast, especially mocking "The Rasmus"... the laughs!!!
That said, Korn really killed it, but it's a shame I didn't see the "hidden" guitarist; that's the biggest disappointment Korn could give me.
I'll conclude with some clarifications: Super Elastic Bubble Plastic make NOISE, not HARDCORE!!!! There's not even a hint of Hardcore!!!!!!!!! And Linea 77 don’t do Nu Metal, they do Crossover Metal (at least on albums like Ketchup Suicide and Too Much Happiness Makes Kids Paranoid). I have to say that Nu Metal has influenced some of their later albums a bit, but they do CROSSOVER METAL!!! The Rasmus, on the other hand, do whatever the hell they want; I think they're awful, and they'll always be awful to me.
