Francesco Guccini Stanze Di Vita Quotidiana
Voto:
Fantastic album, one of the most important in the history of Italian singer-songwriter music. It will also please those who love Claudio Lolli's early work.
Francesco Guccini Via Paolo Fabbri 43

Only six songs - or ballads, if you prefer - but they capture the spirit of the time. My favorite remains "L'avvelenata." At the time, the single ranked among the top spots on the charts, where it stayed for many weeks, and I remember that on national radio they censored ("darkened" is the better term) the verses with the most "strong" invectives - practically over half of the song!
Bob Dylan Empire Burlesque
Voto:
I go against the tide not out of bias but because I truly believe it: I consider 'Empire Burlesque' among the 10 most beautiful albums by Dylan. Titles like "Emotionally Yours", "When The Night Comes Falling From The Sky", "Something's Burning, Baby," and "I'll Remember You" are worth the price of the record (the CD) by themselves. Even in the '80s, Dylan remains Dylan. ("Infidels" and "Oh Mercy" are from that decade.) Robert Zimmerman(n), aka Bob Dylan: a craftsman of wonderful songs. "I couldn't move fast, with you around my neck. I said I'd send for you and I did - what did you expect?" (...) "There's a cold wind blowin', I feel the breath of a storm. There's somethin' I gotta do tonight, you go inside and stay warm."
Bob Dylan Desire

Dylan is... "Zimmerman(n)": a carpenter of great songs. Among his albums that were highly criticized upon release and now are hailed as "masterpieces!" is also his Empire Burlesque. Dylan remained Dylan even in the '80s...
Traffic John Barleycorn Must Die
Voto:
One of Traffic's albums that is certainly not arena-worthy but rather intimate. The track "John Barleycorn" is what could be considered the best work ever done by Jethro Tull. But the absolute standout piece is, in my opinion, "Freedom Rider."
Genesis From Genesis To Revelation
Voto:
All the elements that characterized the Genesis of the mythical years are already there. And many of the songs are quite moving. It's a shame about the Bee Gees-style dubbing and assorted strings wanted by Jonathan King, but that's life (for artists), and besides, if the first album had been a hit, the band's biography would be less interesting.
Dennis Hopper Easy Rider
Voto:
A beautiful and very important film, with a fantastic soundtrack.
Pink Floyd Atom Heart Mother
