Ramones Halfway to Sanity

Strummer is an anonymous figure but says what I would have said. London Calling is not just a great punk album; it’s a piece of history, a summation of all the music that came before and that will come after. If you deny it, you don't understand much. The Ramones also had interesting lyrics, but musically they didn't have the compositional genius of The Clash.

I didn’t even mention the Sex Pistols, I’m really sorry. They were just good actors, that’s all. The Clash were great musicians and giants of music in general, not just of punk, which is a creatively limited movement. Obviously, it’s not that simple on a purely ideological level; punk is a way of being. Anyway, to say that the Ramones are musically superior to the Clash, since we’re talking about music, is a load of bullshit.

but what a drag. boring stuff and a discussion no less. try to remember that the Ramones were jokers who proposed hyper-simplified music. keep the treaties for someone else. and the Clash are musical geniuses, not just great rockers because they managed to go beyond the sterility of punk.

Anyway, I fell in love with Natalie at a young age, watching Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, and then all the others :)

Have you finished cluttering the homepage with this nonsense? You're either a useless and boring fake, or someone who really doesn't understand a damn thing about music. What’s the point of writing these reviews? Write well for once, and talk about something else!

The buffalos are other punishers; beyond the political meaning, it's simply a well-directed film, with capable actors well-suited to their roles, and a solid script rich in ideas. This alone legitimizes the work. Furthermore, I believe there are some interesting concepts, and I personally enjoyed it.

If you mean that those pieces of music fit perfectly with the scenes, I completely agree. However, one cannot deny that they are universal music, perfectly separable from the film. It's not a soundtrack; they are masterpieces used as a sound commentary to the film.
