I haven't seen the movie, and it doesn't really attract me that much. The review isn't bad, but I would have shortened some sentences a bit. Especially the second paragraph, para-ipotassi with cascading asyndeton. A few more fixed points! ;)

But poor idiot, I remind you of the saying "too much is as bad as too little," thus, putting together different influences, even excellent ones when taken individually, can easily result in a kitschy, hideous, and unbearable mix.
