It would be crazy to question whether this concert has the hallmarks of a masterpiece. Best composition ever? I have my doubts, but we enter the realm of personal preferences. I recommend the performance by Friedrich Gulda, just to add something.

I wasn’t joking, actually yes. To explain: it’s obvious that discussing philosophy to defend the dignity of Il_Paolo is utterly nonsense, but I still care to advocate for the aforementioned. As the judge said, what’s the harm if someone on debaser defends crap, as long as they do it with style, skill, and irony? Il_Paolo writes well, very well; it’s genuinely enjoyable, so why not? If we want to get into the specifics of individual works, well, there’s little doubt about the Vanzina films, while for assorted Italian artists, maybe a bit more. So, from my side, maximum support for Il_Paolo. To conclude, third year of high school, it’s true, but there only superficial mentions of the issues, and how often do they revisit them later?

my point of view: Il_Paolo is a philosopher, a great sophist to be precise. He skillfully utilizes the technique of antilogoi to demonstrate how everything is relative, how doxa permeates all. Rereading his work in a more contemporary light, Il-Paolo is a magnificent subversive, a proponent of that cultural relativism that annoys some so much. The noteworthy originality with which he enriches his work is just another point in his favor.
