always seemed like a bunch of fucking emos.

this is a nice album, in the sense that it’s well-made, enjoyable to listen to for those who appreciate the genre, definitely not bad. but nothing more. products like this can be found by the dozen. it lacks that sincerity, that originality that characterized slipknot in their early days. nothing wrong, run-of-the-mill but good.
