Roger Waters The Dark Side Of The Moon Live
Voto:
A Lancer in favor of the Beatles.... It seems to me that McCartney, as a singer, technically could and still can outshine anyone... Let's remember, however, that the Beatles sang live without monitors (that is, without hearing themselves) and practically any singer today in their position wouldn't even be able to hit a note....

The previous album "Moving Waves" is also remarkable (if not better, it depends on personal taste), featuring the legendary "Hocus Pocus" and "Eruption"... Great review.
Yes Close To The Edge

An excellent album, a fantastic title track, stunning guitar riff "siberian khatru". However, I've never particularly appreciated Wakeman as a keyboardist; I find him (in my taste) a bit bland. Technically, he's a monster, no doubt about it (but back then, there were a lot of good keyboardists, right?). Yet within the albums, there’s never a sound that makes me say ā€œthis is Wakemanā€; it could be anyone. For example, although sometimes with questionable taste, Emerson has a much more personal sound... Instead, the instrumental style of the other three is definitely recognizable, for instance. Naturally, this is just my personal impression... praise to Yes!
Traffic Mr. Fantasy

A fundamental record in the history of rock'n'roll, but the following "traffic" is much more beautiful with a more polished and mature sound. Keep it up!
Iron Maiden A Matter Of Life And Death

Maiden made good music in the 80s, but unfortunately for them, the 80s are definitely over.

Great album! Although So Far is just as beautiful... By the way, the aforementioned Velvettian influences can be clearly heard in the first track of So Far, "It's a rainy day," where the "pugno" reinterprets the rhythm of "waiting for the man"... Incredible nonetheless!

Luca Carboni Le Band Si Sciolgono

Poor Carboni, the first three albums weren’t too bad...

I don’t want to seem pushy, but… everyone has their tastes (or it’s all right, depending on the tastes… hehehe…). Thank you Fosca and Fabbiu, I’ll return the favor!
