Black Sabbath Master Of Reality
Voto:
Coolmaster, you're right too, but metalheads didn't exist in the 70's. They are a cultural phenomenon that emerged in England at the end of the 70s, specifically with the explosion of the "new wave of British Heavy Metal"...... Plus, metal isn't everything in rock (even if I’m a supporter!!). Anyway, long live the Sabbath!
Black Sabbath Technical Ecstasy

I actually like "All Right"! A bit of a tired record after years of excess...(it was the '70s)
Black Sabbath Never Say Die
Voto:
I like them all (except for the post-Ozzy ones, except for "Heaven and Hell" and "Dehumanizer")
Jimi Hendrix Experience Experience Hendrix

4 tracks? But only the first two albums are recorded on 4 tracks... The rest on 12 or 16 tracks... With the best sound engineers in the world, by the way...
Jimi Hendrix Experience Hendrix - The Best Of Jimi Hendrix
Voto:
Look, the vinyl version exists... In my opinion, this collection is mainly suited for newcomers; "Cornerstone" is definitely more interesting as it delves into Hendrix's less renowned production, particularly from the "Cry of Love" period... Unfortunately, this beautiful compilation is out of print, also because it features a stunning version of "Stepping Stone" (without Mitch Mitchell's clumsy overdubbed drums but with Buddy Miles' original recording) which alone makes the purchase of the CD (or vinyl!) worthwhile, not to mention it has a great sound quality as a recording...

Adriano Celentano Geppo il folle
Voto:
I quote cptgaio.... Anyway, Geppo il Folle is truly a terrible film... I own a copy on film, in other formats it’s hard to find, except in the television version which is different, by the way. Recorded at Regson in Milan, the record is a faded copy of the disco music from that period (especially in the title track, a bland photocopy of "staying alive"...!). The performances and mixing are quite shaky (just listen to the drum intro of "Sei solo tu"..) and the mastering of the CD is mind-blowing, each song has a different volume from the others... despite everything, in its disco-music delirium it has a certain sick appeal... Sigh! Much more interesting is "I mali del secolo" featuring musicians from "Balletto di bronzo"!
Iron Maiden The Number Of The Beast
Voto:
Definitely overrated album. However, in their golden days, Maiden were capable of remarkable things. De gustibus non disputandum est.

There's always the good mule to unload the record...
Actually, I hadn't thought about the ELO...
Thanx!
