Rolling Stones Live Licks

"get yer ya's.." is a great live album but suffers from the messy sound of the Wood-Richards guitar duo. Sure, Mick Taylor was an extraordinary guitarist (one of my favorites by the way), but his live solos were never as creative as they were on the studio records (Sway, Moonlight Mile, Time waits for no one, Shine A Light, Heartbreaker, 1000 Years Ago, to name some of his best moments in the studio....) Of course, the rule "de gustibus" always applies, especially considering that Love You Live was the first Rolling Stones vinyl I bought in my youth.....

Votes. Ah, and I fully share the opinion on that incompetent Bocelli...

Horrible cover, sounds like a cover band and a musical performance as cold as an ice pop. I still prefer the Battistiana version with its slightly strange and "thrown together" sound that conveys the meaning of the lyrics much better. And there were Ivan Graziani, Walter Calloni, and Hugh Bullen playing there...

Look, they released a new album of unreleased tracks "A Bigger Bang" just over a year ago, remember? What a huge blunder... It’s tough to beat "Love You Live," as there was still REAL energy there; the "El Mocambo side" is amazing and Ronnie Wood was still making a significant contribution to the band's sound back then. This one feels a bit dull and plastic, and he’s now in a state of catalepsy... 2 and a half albums and a review.

No film copy on film, they projected a Betacam. It seemed just like the DVD to me... Granfilm... But have you seen any films in competition? I was there for a few days and saw a little something... "I'm not there" "Lou Reed's Berlin" "Les Amours de Astree et Celadon" The latter was a real flop with plenty of laughs in the room...

Nice... Hey Happypippo, did you go to the screening of "If You're Alive, Shoot"?

And yesterday "If You're Alive, Shoot"? Now that's a good movie!

Guys, speaking of crazy stuff, has anyone at the festival seen "les amours des Astree et Celadon" by the renowned Rhomer? What a load of crap!

In my humble opinion, this is the best Aerosmith album and one of the greatest American rock records of all time.

I also like El Diablo. Terremoto, on the other hand, is absolutely shameful both musically and in terms of lyrics, full of clichés about politics...... this album, however, is historic! A bit of a hasty review.
