The influences of Yes should be mentioned (especially in the choruses, just listen to believe) and King Crimson (particularly in "Painting the Night," which is, by the way, the only track from this album that I like). Very referential and perhaps a bit overrated (at least around my way), Motorpsycho has the merit or the demerit of having influenced dozens and dozens of Indie bands. I’ve never liked this influence, though... Trying to set aside my personal tastes, I still believe they are a great band... album rated 2 and 1/2.
