William, come on, not really Underground... Death to duplicates!!!
The Velvet Underground Velvet Underground and Nico

Nice review, okay, but it was already there. Is it not possible to increase the number of reviews on Debaser without creating duplicates-triplicates-quadruplicat es, etc., etc...?

I'm totally with you on the jargon! Ah, it's worth mentioning Frumpy's beautiful version of "Indian Rope Man," which was already performed before them by Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger, and Trinity. "By the Way" is also a great track, possibly the best thing they've ever done, but the rest of the album isn't exactly the best...

I like them, but as a reaction...

The American version has A LOT more scenes (which definitely ruin the final result with too much didacticism, but we all know the average American going to the movies isn't exactly an intellectual....). If you buy the DVD in region 1 (that is, NTSC in the American version) you'll get to enjoy a whopping twenty-seven extra minutes...
Soft Machine Third

Stefano Magnani! Legendary, he is a very dear friend of mine! We have organized a lot of concerts together with my tribute band to the Floyd "Embryo"! Anyway, the third is magnificent, on par with the second!

"Teeth" is worth the entire album, the video circulating on YouTube of them recording it in the studio is beautiful.
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon

Oh well, a little common sense, right? I understand it might not be to everyone's taste; it’s ultra-polished music and some tracks on the album aren’t exactly top-notch, but it’s undeniable that it’s a great classic, and by the way, a cutting-edge recording for its time. Pointless review.
