I remember those terrible tapes of trashy magazines like GENTE where our Cristian (with that wonderfully exotic h) delighted us with marvelous love songs set to beautiful MIDI backgrounds... It’s useless to say that every time those tapes came into my possession, they were promptly erased with something else! (back then, blank tapes were expensive!!). But was this guy ever actually famous? One of the greatest mysteries in music, right alongside Richard Clayderman....

Indeed, 2,000 light years from home is the highlight of the album, which has other magical moments with 2000 man, she's a rainbow, citadel, and Lantern. The rest is not particularly memorable. Other great songs recorded during that period and unfortunately not included on the album are "We love you" and "Dandelion." What a pity; with those instead of "Gomper" and the reprise of "sing all together," the record would have been a 5! 3 to 4 leaning towards 4.
