I much prefer the Pop of the New Pornographers and the Shins to these good lads: you can just listen to the Beatles on the home hi-fi or in the car during a nice Scottish rainy day. The best period for Healy & co. was "The Man Who," but the comparison with Coldplay's "Parachutes" doesn't hold up, let alone with Verve past & present... And I'll leave aside the Radioteste. A cover seen somewhere who knows how many times (a bit bland).
