"Heartbeat City" is a sacred monument to the pop-plastic aesthetic of the Eighties, but at times irresistibly so! I mean, the synthesized intro of "Hello Again" often hits hard, just like the famous "Drive" and the title track. However, I always prefer Pippo Ocasek's hard\pop\wave (unforgettable "Candy-O"): the man who landed a divine supermodel mare like Paulina Porizkova will have my respect ad lib.

On the "500 Disculi Ammucchiati," you find "Voodoo" by D'Angelo and not Stevie Wonder (!!), Pet Shop Boys instead of Depeche Mode or Japan... There’s Wyclef Jean, "Love Symbol" (!!!) by the Prìnz & "Life Is Peachy" by the Korn; ignored are Cocteau Twins, "Aenima" - Tool and Jesus Lizard: I’ll stop here, pourquoi I could rant for 36 minutes… In short, what the hell!
P.S. - Guglielmi has been working too much lately, he even finds "digestible" the Santa Rabbia by Merdallica. Saludos
