John McTiernan Predator

But this is a cult McTiernan, chiribbio! Awesome the twin opening to Carpenter's "The Thing."

I'm sorry, but I can't access external content such as YouTube videos. However, if you provide the text you'd like translated, I would be happy to help!
Oasis Dig Out Your Soul

Rece twisted gut and avant-gardist.
Dinosaur Jr. Farm (Limited 2CD Edition)

After various much better DeAscolti "Beyond," this one is long-winded and a bit tedious. For the series "Sometimes They Return": here’s the Jesus Lizard reunion, olé!
Alela Diane The Pirate's Gospel

Here I am! Highly recommended also the new "To Be Still," with psych-folk-pop arrangements + rich sound. @kosmo: for me, it’s in the top of the decade (oh yeah, but who cares!). :) @giusty: "..music tailored for a local fair...am I saying something stupid?" -Yes (respect for Alela!). Greetings to todos!

Good job, Giusty, tasty review. The older he gets, the more his bony face resembles PPP.

Ah, so "sometimes they come back" doesn't apply only to me: well done Bubi! :) -What I prefer is "My Aim Is True," but this one is great too. "..Pump it up until you can feel it. Pump it up when you don't really need it.."
Michael Jackson Off The Wall

Jacko's death hit me hard, there's no denying it: it's like Mickey Mouse has died. Regardless of whether his music is crap or not, he was one of the biggest pop icons of the last century (just think of the video revolution of "Thriller" or the bass line & 4\4 in "Billie Jean"). A tragic and lonely figure, a dark outcast loved and despised by all (I have a soft spot for freaks). Anyway, the hyperbaric chamber didn’t do a damn thing.

Wow, what a beautiful crowd! :) -It’s really nice that there are so many XTC fans on DeB, and this "Mummer" is often underrated compared to the universally recognized peaks of the Swindonians (totally agree with imasoul, of course). @franci!: start with "White Music," "Drums And Wires," and "Black Sea" (about 70% of today’s indie rock should build a monument to this incredible album). Partridge, Moulding & company are among the most joyful pop war machines in history. Cheers to todos!
