It's a truly devastating album... an album of epic proportions... I don't think this can be challenged... fast, powerful, technical, wicked, aggressive, an absolute masterpiece of technique, a frenzy of sounds, never banal, never the same as itself... a musical apocalypse... great performance from the singer, who alternates an nonetheless penetrating voice with growl vocals, an incredible performance by Steve Di Giorgio, stunning and epic drumming from Dave Lombardo... we are faced with an album that absolutely cannot be missed by true Metal lovers, whatever their preferences may be...

The only song from this album that I really liked is "Am I Evil," which is very beautiful, perhaps because my girlfriend performed it for an electric guitar recital... to be honest, I don’t even know if it’s theirs or a cover. Would someone be able to quench my curiosity to remedy my ignorance? For example, Cliff Burton 86, who seems very knowledgeable... thanks!!!

The review was truly witty... this album is the only one from Metallica that I've listened to a maximum of 4 times just to try to understand if it was an acoustic illusion of mine or if it was truly unacceptable for a band that has written the history of Metal... AN ALBUM THAT MAKES NO SENSE... but in my opinion, since Metallica ended after the first 4 gems, even this terrible album can't tarnish their reputation...

A truly unique album...the title says it all...Kill'Em All...one track above all...Metal Militia, while not the best on the album, became a true anthem of Metal during those flourishing years for this musical genre...a real symbol of that era, which I definitely would have liked to experience with a greater musical awareness...(but I was too young to do so...I was born in '81!!!!)

Perfectly agree with Anto... a good hard rock album, not too hard... but not on par with the previous four gems. Let's say that due to the stylistic changes of the time, they were convinced that more musical and lighter sounds would earn them more money... and there is where their true heart faded, their music became more calculated and less instinctive... in any case, viewed in the context of the time and assessed as a rock album, it is still to be considered a nice record...

Well, what can I say... certainly much better than Load, Reload, and the like... but to claim that the real Metallica has returned seems honestly like an exaggeration to me... this feels more like an American Nu-Metal album than a Metallica album... and then, you can't waste Kirk's fingers on making some pretty basic riffs without delighting us with one of his historic solos... sure! To find bands like that today, HOWEVER, WE ARE HONESTLY LIGHT YEARS AWAY FROM 1986!!!

Cliff, I always agree with you...another great album...I would recommend it along with other great records to those who don't know what metal means and to those who simply define it as noise, with the indifference of those who don't try to look beneath the veneer of clichés and prejudice that unfortunately covers this wonderful type of music...IRON MAIDEN ARE GREAT...a bit repetitive? That may be true, but other less repetitive bands can only dream of writing songs like the ones they create!

Dear cliffburton86, I liked your review; in fact, I gave it a 5, but frankly, I think the best way to realize the beauty of this album is to listen to it until it wears out... I’ve been listening to it for about 7 years, and every time it’s an incredible emotion... to not appreciate it is to not appreciate music... IT'S PRACTICALLY THE HISTORY OF METAL... in my opinion, one of the 4 gems of Metallica as well as one of the greatest albums in the history of this musical genre... UNMATCHABLE...
