As a kid, I used to go to church because they let me read the "Giornalino" at the end of the mass. Now I wouldn’t know what to read; they don’t give it out anymore (and even if they did, I certainly wouldn’t believe in it, being the human beast of twenty I am now): the Bible is a nice story of fables, just like Greek myths.

Great review: I knew that Dazed And Confused couldn't really be defined as “by Led Zeppelin” but I didn't recall the true author. However, I want to make a mathematical point: 4.9 recurring is exactly equal to 5.

Your avatar on the mioDeb page says it all. If you're really a fake, who cares; but if you're truly a 15-year-old girl dedicated to things appropriate for your age, don't think you can dismantle centuries-old works with your minimalist superficiality. You certainly won't be the first, but it takes guts and a lot of preparation to criticize a work like Nietzsche's or I Promessi Sposi. Hence: you've got on my nerves!

@Pibroch: It's not that I despise role-playing games; rather, I've just never had the opportunity. My exaggerated comment was merely a satirical observation of the ratings on the site for a work of the caliber of The Lord of the Rings. One last thing, if The Lord of the Rings is verbose, Ulysses is the triumph of kitsch writing, and The Waste Land (by Eliot, not Stephen King!) consists of newspaper clippings and librettos of operas slapped together randomly :DDD

If by right you mean "in the series Great Assholes" then D'Annunzio is, in a sense, right-wing. However, it must be remembered that the PFN only used D'Annunzio's figure after his death, due to disagreements between the writer and the Duce. Among all the authors whose books have passed through my hands (of course, having read them), I believe only one is truly right-wing: Ezra Pound. But not so much for his ideas; just read any encyclopedia about his life to understand what I mean. Artists (specifically, writers) can be described by a phrase from Tolkien, to stay on topic, said by an elf whose name I can't recall, who describes his race: "Never ask an elf for advice, for they may tell you yes and show you that it is no at the same time." Now please help me remember the name of the elf XD

Well, given how things are today, I would never dare to identify Nietzsche or D'Annunzio on the right as much as Marx and Pasolini on the left. Forgive me, but for me, political ideologies are like religious fundamentalisms: a cult in and of itself.
