On the record, nothing to say (in a positive sense), about the review neither (in a negative sense)...

Nice review, the album, well... my nickname says it all.

I didn't say that music without Barrett and psychedelia in general wouldn't have existed; I only stated that Barrett was a significant push in the evolution of music and this genre, and the Flaming Lips are just one of the many offspring of Barrett's "madness."

Barrett, as I mentioned before, was the centerpiece of the psychedelic version of Pink Floyd. After Barrett, they became the titans of the transition from psychedelia to progressive, but we must not forget that dear old Syd left a deep mark with his two solo albums. A somewhat trivial example: can you imagine the Flaming Lips if Barrett had never existed?

The fault is mine... sometimes I don't write well and it can contradict something I say.

I didn't say that Kraftwerk are superior to Pink Floyd (heaven forbid ...), I just meant that in terms of "quantity" in the experimental field, they have been the greatest, but when it comes to "quality", we should discuss it a bit because there are different factors to consider (genre above all). I've always believed that if Barrett had remained the leader of Pink Floyd, they would now be three steps above their already undisputed fame. And then, one last thing (and I swear I'll stop), I wanted to review this album not for the sake of adding another contribution to the vast "orgy" of reviews out there, but simply because I love this album: if a poor man wants to talk about an album that has been discussed, is still discussed, and will be discussed for a long time, should he be shot? Aren't we here to compare our "passions" and those we have in common? Maybe I was wrong to review this album, but let's say it was the easiest one for me to review.

Zarathustra, you are right, I misunderstood the meaning of some songs; it was the first review I wrote, and I hope that in future reviews (if there are any) this won't happen again. I apologize to all the Floydians...
