Genesis The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway

While I'm at it, I'll quote Larrok too, but among Collins' Genesis, I really like Mama. As for the album, STIPE has said (and said, and said, and damn well said, exaggerating a bit too) a lot about it. One last thing and I promise I won’t bug you anymore. Since we were talking about Collins' technicality, I’ll open a small parenthesis on his singing style. I've often heard that Collins forged his voice in the image and likeness of Gabriel, but I don't agree: there is indeed a clear resemblance between the two, as if you listen to More Fool Me, it raises some doubts about who the singer is, kindly indicated on the back of the CD. However, I believe that Collins has a more velvety voice compared to Gabriel, who has a more powerful and, I would dare say, more "theatrical" tone. Also, considering what I've said and the fact that I've only listened to Genesis' albums "Selling England By The Pound," "Foxtrot," "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway," and "A Trick Of The Tail," I’ll close the parenthesis on the voice and go eat.

Nice review, maybe a bit short considering the theme addressed by the film, which I haven't seen yet.

Sorry. I should have written "when I heard No Surprises again after years I burst into tears," the sleep is taking its toll.

Epochal record, when I listened to No Surprises again after years. Not so much for the song, but for the memories that came rushing back to my mind. I won't read the review because it's too long and also because I'm sleepy.

I'm watching it now, I'll rate the movie later.

A somewhat poor review: you could have said more about the film and also about the book if you've read it. I wouldn't rate the film, but I give it a 4 for two reasons: it was a symbol of a generation and I loved it as a kid. :D
