Seapony Go With Me

I'm back after quite a while. I spent a summer abroad without the sea and listening to this gentleman with great attention. They deserve it.
A Place To Bury Strangers Worship

Review, I'll tell you to do it. More than sufficient album but full of sonic déjà vu, in my opinion. It's hard to repeat oneself.
Management del dolore post-operatorio Auff!!

Anyway, they are the best of the entire current batch. And they are not just 1. Definitely sufficient in their field.
Amor Fou 100 Giorni da oggi

Boastful and boring in the previous album, in this one they seem to have found a path. A solid 3.5 for them. A full 4 for the intentions of the review.
Woody Allen To Rome With Love

Ah. Benigni is pointless, both him and his story.
Woody Allen To Rome With Love

A really fat film, so a little film. The good story is the one with Allen, the idea is funny and the dialogues deliver. I tried to rationalize the outrage of many Italians in front of the film. It's clear that Allen wants to speak well of Italy. He makes references to other major cities positively and seeks to provide a characteristic and good image of us and our country. In our eyes, however, all this appears kitsch and very vintage. Indeed it is so, but if you notice, in all his geolocated films there are tides of clichés, parts of a coded alphabet understandable worldwide. They serve as devices to immediately immerse the global audience in the film's atmosphere. What can we do, they still see us a bit like that. It happens in Vicky Christina Barcelona (the Spaniards almost seem like posh bullfighters) and in Midnight in Paris (the French are portrayed as foolish victims of formalities, good only for wine tasting). Yet, regarding these last two films, we can say that we liked them. Precisely for the reason that - perhaps - the rest of the world will like To Rome With Love. So, I heard some women say that "they still see us like those women from the '50s and '60s with hairpins in their heads...". It’s true, the two from Pordenone in today's Italy could never live, they are obsolete. But they are - perhaps - the projection of two average Italians in the global collective imagination and - certainly, especially her - an image of the old and wonderful Italian cinema. Her face shape recalls that of the great actresses of the past.
Despite the good intentions, however, it’s true that Allen does come off as a bit provincial this time, while still giving credit to the always excellent insights and ideas he lays out during his films.
Colapesce Un Meraviglioso Declino

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by. We're back to the age-old question, album review, "broad" review. I rarely write reviews related to the album. There are tons of them - especially about this album - scattered across the web, and they all pretty much say the same thing. I do provide some references. The songs, for me, are in what I've written. Cheers.

I had missed it. Beautiful, complete. For me, the album deserves a 4.5. There wasn't much music that sounded this good back then. If today I have to choose a hard rock album to listen to, 9 times out of 10 I'll pick theirs (the other album will be by Whitesnake :). I liked this one a lot; it maybe even left a mark on me, considering I got it just as I was coming out of a haze full of hairspray.
