It's not the peak for Slipknot, but it's a different take on the musical realms you've mentioned; it's not a mindless copycat. That it didn't turn out quite as well is another matter altogether.

Come on, the review is good. I wouldn’t know what to say about the album since it’s not one of my favorite genres and I don’t have the slightest expertise to talk about it. The only thing I know is that even I, if I have to think of pop songs from the time when I was a child, immediately think of something that was part of this record.
