Amidst fusion, jazz, shoegaze, noise, Tori Amos, Diaframma, and so much psychedelia along with plenty of other stuff from the most varied genres, Filosofem is always present. It’s an album that has an unyielding quality and, after all these years, remains as powerful as the first day: it moves me to the point of making the hairs around my anus stand on end.
