Uhm, a typical example of a review of this record where the reviewer understood very little of what’s at stake. "Listening to these test transmissions is first of all advisable in small doses, paying attention to the lyrics, the stories, more than to the melodic insights." Never was advice so wrong, especially from a musical standpoint. In any case, it comforts me to know that I have good ears. To hell with modesty.

Good job :D for listening to the album. Review brainstorming works really well for me since I spend my working hours doing just that...

Criticizing this review shows a lack of sensitivity. It's the stuff of inflexible minds. Not recognizing the value of this album and these artists in the landscape of rock is a sign of ignorance. Maybe I was wrong to review Reed a few days ago. He's aging, it's pitiable. But I wanted to pay him a personal tribute. From those years, if I could take only three artists with me, I would choose them, the Doors, and Miles Davis. And I wouldn't miss any of the others. Absolute favorite review.

If you're looking for 1:1 reviews with similarities, don't read mine. I have included the genres as well as mentioned them. I also wrote that more than a review, this is a series of notes. I have to assume that you read it superficially or that you got annoyed not finding points of reference that are important to you. In any case, listen to the album, which is the best thing to do. Best regards.

I know the Salento very well, and I’m from the Ionian side too. The sea on Saturday and Sunday, from Punta della Suina downwards, was truly beautiful. Yes, the "if you know how to use it properly" is essential. I learned to appreciate it on a scooter, buying pucce and other things from bakeries in the smaller towns, thanks to tips from locals. Because the part shown to tourists is a bit too "touristy" and not very authentic. During this summer, I found myself in Ostuni; for a meal, I followed some ladies speaking the local dialect: I ended up in the only invisible establishment in town, but I ate wonderfully and paid very little. So, better the Salento for eating than for drinking.

A round of applause for the hellish heat :D On the evening of the Kaisers, I was in the province of Lecce in a place by the sea with 100% humidity. Basically, the fog had rolled in and it was sweltering, but I had a blast. Salento always keeps its promises, if you know how to "use" it properly.

It took me a while to get into it. Maybe I was caught off guard by the opening with Untitled, which was a track from the previous release. The one that impressed me the most. In my opinion, though it's a bit of a gamble, it hasn't been talked about much yet because there's something that disorients on the first listens. I really haven't figured out what it is. Perhaps it's that the sound is quite layered, rich, in a certain sense heavy. Not exactly a light bite, in short. However, once I got past the initial phase, here I am writing about it very positively. I highly recommend it.
