Ah, as for Movement, I think it's enough to go to some well-stocked but less frequented store: you'll definitely find a copy there! In my northeastern parts, it can be found with reasonable ease. Or go for vinyl: I don't remember that shop on Via Po too badly. Bye!

Yes, it’s true, the clever Ibiza vibe of Technique is undeniable. Just look at "Mr. Disco." But the New Order are still all there, slightly contaminated, but intact. They have followed the wave of the moment, yes, but that wave perfectly accommodated their own evolution. In Republic the discourse is different: there’s more selling out, like in the last Waiting for the sirens' call. More coercion.

Uhmm, ege, I assure you that I'm not really that much of a fan... Objectively, Technique is truly a great album and is generally regarded as such. Republic has some notable tracks (at least "Regret," "Ruined in a Day"), but on the whole it's rather mediocre, while Get Ready is a top-notch album (reverse, go ahead and check that one out too: it's worth it!). Maybe we're not at excellence levels, but we're definitely at a high level!

Thank you all! I take this opportunity to tell this piece of nonsense by Berlusconi (and the other one) to go fuck themselves. Time-wasters.

Reverse, you are absolutely right! My mistake. In "Doubts Even Here," it's Hook who sings. Of course, the imitation is impressive, and the Curtis ghost looms large (see ICB: Ian Curtis Buried). Thanx!

Acc, Socrates: I'm a polentone, I have no idea what "sfottere la mazzarella" means... Truly a valuable quote. As for them, the chance will surely be given.

Very interesting proposal, just like the cover. Could the earliest Baustelle from the Sussidiario have something to do with it (to understand better)?

All the records you review, maestro, always have wonderful covers. They are interesting. I am increasingly convinced that, (permit me the Greekism) alla kalos kai agathos, beautiful records correspond to good bands.

There’s no denying it, kid: I ignore them, but you’re really good.
