Definitely mind-blowing.

Oh yes, well!: on debaser, the PsB are rather unpopular... Anyway, as for the title of Please, I must confess that it's not at all my imagination: it's what Tennant stated in a mid-'90s interview that I've recorded somewhere. The irony is all his: you never know how seriously to take it...

Thank you, Kubrick! With the "underrated," well, mopà, I pretty much agree, even beyond the commercial aspect. Underrated in the sense that today, honestly, this album and this band are no longer on anyone's lips. The new generations ignore them. The recoveries and historical-musical assessments too. Or am I wrong? (and anyway, debaser remembers and celebrates!)

Two princes: so many memories!

I don't venture further than a humble review opinion. I don't like that "skinhead" at the end; does it fit? But maybe it's just my idiosyncrasy...

Yes, I agree, Actually and Behaviour above all (but I'd also add Release from 2002: signordisco). Actually, I can't review it, donju: there are those two tracks (King's Cross and It Couldn't Happen Here) that I love too much to be objective: it’s all yours (really excellent what you wrote about Behaviour, by the way)! Of course, Very is perhaps the true essence of PSB, because it contains a bit of all their faces. @zion: you’ll have to explain this obsession of yours with Introspective! Are you perhaps also tied to the video of Domino Dancing, like Tondelli? :)
Bloc Party A Weekend In The City

Type: "good/great," "it depends on the point of view," "nothing special but there are worse things." Let's say your opinion about the album might come off as a bit confusing... That's all!

I quote Kid. Plus, you sometimes seem a bit too defensive. I'm still curious to hear the "new" part of the album.
The Long Blondes Someone To Drive You Home

I’ll stick my neck out too, mopa': Block Party are the winning horses and the Kaiser Chiefs are the losing ones destined for the slaughter... Editors are in the front part of the crowd. Long Blondes are coming up from behind at full speed, giving the finger to Franz Ferdinand. Arctic Monkeys are sluggish: they’ve eaten too much feed. @senior: Jackson needed to be punished!!!

Ah, Bisius, I know, I've sinned with pre-festive enthusiasm! :) Let's say my rating is a 4.5 rounded up, where that half point less is due to the cleverness Kid rightly mentions: there are a couple of too many winks on the record. Of course, the noise and the praises from the English press raise suspicion, Kid, I agree (a bit harsh on Bloc, perhaps). What can I say: for now, let's enjoy this good album, and maybe a tour: then it all depends on them, whether they'll screw themselves in or out...
