Thanks to easy and hal...you might find the record in some little music shop. Especially now that the second CD by the Bark has come out (by the way, it's rather forgettable!). I'd like to include the samples...as soon as I have a bit of time I'll give it a try...but it’s not guaranteed that I will succeed! THANK YOUUU AND I HOPE THAT IF YOU MANAGE TO LISTEN TO IT YOU'LL LOVE IT TO DEATH....A HUG TO EVERYONE :)

VANA: ...the grooves that sounds can carve inside! ...and deep within, they come to seek me, just as they seek you, Vana. There, where there is no reason, I am ready to wait for them! Like you, it seems I understand, Vana... and it’s from there that I thank you. :)
FOR PUGLIAMIX: ...something different and unique...? Perhaps! It only depends on how much we allow ourselves to get involved and how we manage to resonate with the proposed notes... this, when it happens, is music. Thank you, Pugliamix, for your encouragement :).
FOR KOSMO: helloo, it's nice to read you again. Yes, definitely, a copy should be passed down... anyway, for the "network," it can be found and maybe even in some out-of-the-way little shop! From the heart, I thank you :).
Until the next SHARING. BYE :) LOGIC

E serpent egg e within the realm of dyning sun? When will I also be able to read the reviews of these two masterpieces? A song like "Host of sephilim" demands a review... come on, get to work guys... :)

Dead Can Dance Into The Labyrinth
Voto:
Into the labyrinth! The labyrinth... in all classic (and non-classic) iconographies, the labyrinth is the winding and troubled path of man to reach its center, the soul, the awareness of oneself in a transcendental relationship upwards. The disc spins in this whirlwind of emotions, it spins almost in a hypothetical circle from which one cannot escape, because one cannot escape from the soul, from the self. Arabesque atmospheres intertwine in Gothic and Afro embellishments, passing through the Middle Ages and orchestrations. SPLENDOR is the word that roars within me, burns my throat, and cradles me in its honeyed whiteness. Thank you, Fosca, from the bottom of my heart... thank you for the wonderful notes you have shared with us. Logic
Cesare Basile Gran Calavera Elettrica
Voto:
Excellent album! There's no denying it. Basile plays with death, sings its deeds, exorcises it as a stage in a journey that, stripped of every prejudice, ends up being completely natural. The music follows this path in a minimal and dark sound universe, but also with folk and ethno hues. The almost Boudelairian lyrics make it shine with a dim light suited to the "cursed" singer-songwriter. Well done, Gabri, you've written a review of a difficult album to propose because looking inward shows us what we would never want to know: OURSELVES! Excellent, Gabri. :) With affection, Logic

FOR KOSMOGABRI: hey kosmo...nice to read you again. You managed to pinpoint the essence of my brief discourse...that’s exactly what I wanted. When you say that, in essence, it's an album to be listened to as a whole with attention and focus, but also emotion, you truly grasp what I wanted to convey. And this is the line I still support (in all my replies): beyond the nuances, the album is beautiful because it can be experienced just the way it is... (would we ask Da Vinci for the specifics of his brushes in creating the Mona Lisa? :) ). Thank you for catching the message :)).
FOR VANAMENTE: thank you Vana for hitting the mark :). You also confirm that my "concise psychedelic" review can pique the interest of "soul travelers". :)
THANKS TO THOSE WHO, IN THEIR OWN WORLD, ENRICH THESE FOUR LINES WITH THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE. FROM THIS A TRULY COMPLETE REVIEW EMERGES (in my view :))
See you soon guys....Bye and THANK YOU AGAIN.

For KOOPA: true Koopa, your comparison to the Kings is right and I'm glad you pointed it out :)
For HUMAX4: nice to meet you, Hum. So, when I said "it's better not to equate the Ghost to other prog groups," it was because, in my deep ignorance (I admit it), there are various prog movements ranging from the heavier to the more commercial (see Pendragon, IQ, Transatlantic, Spock's Beard, and so on). Where the term more commercial, in this case, indicates a closer proximity to rock. However, even if these mentioned bands may be easier to listen to, it doesn't mean they produce less complex albums than their more pioneering counterparts (pioneers like the Ghost). The choice of easier sounds does not prevent these bands from creating interesting albums (IQ for example produced Subterranea, which is indeed easy, but with a grandeur in arrangements and long suites worthy of Yes). I've read online that some groups like Coldplay are also categorized under prog... but these latter, frankly, pale in comparison to the sonic richness that bands like IQ, Transatlantic, Kings Flower, and so on have to offer. And to finish with Italy. To this day, there are commercial prog bands that aren't bad. An example is CAP, daring in their vocals (as per the script of Italian prog, and frankly tiring) but interesting in their long suites. Okay, I don't want to bore you with my very personal ideas (after all, a band can appear under different genres to different ears) and my musical ignorance. However, I'm happy to respond to you within my capabilities :)
Ciauuuz and enjoy your listening :)

Thank you so much for the comments. Thanks to everyone.
FOR AIRONE: upon rereading the review, I think you are right. It's a bit thin... but... it’s not easy to convey the soul contained in the record with words... especially when this is the alpha of my reviews... the starting point. :) I wanted to pique your curiosity about this masterpiece... and I think I succeeded a bit... who knows. Thanks anyway.
FOR HAL: hi Hal, I’m happy to read you again... you’re right, it won’t be the omega because I’ve already written another one that’s less striminzita... but you, by now, already know what I think about "personal emotion" :)
FOR KOOPA: true, Ghost has been around for quite a while. They are prog in the second part of the album while definitely psychedelic at the beginning... however, I pointed out that the album is complex and difficult to listen to, but let’s not reduce it to a mere comparison with other bands. Let’s listen to it instead, for what it has to offer, freeing ourselves from the necessary categorizations. Saying the album is prog might lead the listener to compare Ghost with the thousands of prog bands out there, but in that album, there’s more, much more. Record labels demand conformity, I want sensation... that’s all. Thank you anyway from the bottom of my heart :)
FOR EVERYONE ELSE: Please do not vote for the review because I am not interested in the vote. I see this site as a form of SHARING and not as the top 10 of the smartest. This album is a piece of my life that I gladly gift to you, I propose it to see what you think and, who knows, to make you dream as it happened for me. :)
I send you hugs and thank you from the bottom of my heart

Air Talkie Walkie
Voto:
Dear AR,
Air are not the only group trying to innovate and bring new freshness to the legendary world of the 70s. They're not the only ones. I like Air, I listen to them with pleasure, and I might even agree that 10000hz is the most experimental album they've attempted. Talkie is a continuation of Moon, a step backward then... perhaps experimenting is not beneficial for anyone! But it is very mobile. However, innovation often runs along tracks that do not flirt with pop and are consequently considered difficult to listen to. I mention Ghost with their Hypnotic Underworld, which is a punch to the ears, yet it has a charm that sells. Air are born from great insights while remaining a good duo that has gifted us with beautiful albums.
Finally, a note: as much as I may find Paola and Chiara depressing and musically disheartening, that doesn't mean that anyone who enjoys them is foolish. If you love music, YOU WILL KNOW that it can evoke emotions and connect with people in different ways. To this, you must add that people are different themselves. Your imposition of your will is an act of violence... because it is with violence that you impose yourself. This discredits you! Reviewing an album is an act of love towards the reader and not its opposite! If I write, it is because I want more people to enjoy what I have enjoyed. If that does not happen, however, it does not authorize me to be aggressive and violent. There are plenty of people who like Air! Myself included. But I respect others' opinions. It’s a choice, AR! The choice is to grow or remain eternally closed in your infinitesimally small self. Communicating is growing. The decision is up to you! I quote: "I will always fight for my opponent to express their opinion." With affection, Logic
Air 10.000 Hz. Legend

a transit album, there's no denying that. But when albums become transit, they lean on Floydisms and the 70s prog. It's well known that during those years Music was alive and kicking! So if you're short on ideas, well, just dive in hands-first from there. That said, the Air album isn't bad; stylistically, they could have done more, but at least we should appreciate the attempt to break away from Moon Safari. I wouldn't be harsh in rejecting it; after all, it's quite enjoyable. Bye Logic
