I know you’re going to criticize me for this, but when talking about the German scene in a broad sense, I would also mention Lacrimosa, Ophelia's Dream, Ash Ra Temple, Faust (the last two are German, right Kosmo? That's how I remember it) and Popul Vuh. Nothing else comes to mind at the moment... well, I’ll think about it a bit... if not, you can remind me in September :P
