Alright, but perhaps the intervention in those places corresponds to the economic interests that others have not been able to forge with those dictatorships. Listen, anonymous friend, why don't we open a forum and leave space for discussion? I got involved in the conversation (and I thank you because it’s always good to talk about these things), but it’s not fair to do it on these pages. Don’t you think? Come on, it would be more honest to open a forum. Bye.

Your last comment is constructive. It's true. Fallaci has full freedom to write what she thinks and no one prevents her from doing so. My comment is that perhaps reading Terzani could provide a different perspective on the issue. In short, to put it simply, reading only books that resonate with our way of thinking reinforces it, but it doesn't allow us to observe the same thing from different angles. Allow me a provocation. Ironically, women in Italy today are more discriminated against than Islamic women. If they are hired, they cannot become pregnant (under threat of dismissal!), they must be beautiful (our burqa consists of slim thighs, a perfect bottom, large breasts that must be displayed, injected lips, etc.), they must shake their hips on TV, preferably looking silly, they must wear big sunglasses and be slim (otherwise they can't even find clothes). The media produce a robotic woman, and many young girls take that stereotype as an example of success and personal satisfaction. It would be nice if someone denounced the pseudo-emancipation of Italian women. I don't believe our women have an easier life today than yesterday, and I think women still have a long way to go towards their true dimension.

Odra, there are violent people for sport, whose purpose is to provoke. Responding to them with courtesy is synonymous with openness, meaning you do not place yourself on the same level since you see them as a person and not as an animal (as they, on the contrary, do with you). This certainly makes you interesting in the eyes of most. Odra, if licking means creating affections, then I also take pleasure in licking and I interpret this licking as an agape of love (since licking Hal only makes sense in the direction of friendship... Hal is not a person who could guarantee us a better economic position, it seems to me). Regarding the gray area, I wanted to say that the header of debaser is "a container of reviews written" by amateurs and not by professionals. Often, some words can be used improperly (I acknowledge that), but what one wants to read in these reviews is the emotional state generated by the album and not the type of polyphony used. The review is very complete in this sense and describes (or tries to) a concert... that is, transducing music into words, which is not simple at all. It is, furthermore, a form of love towards his fellow debasers, trying to make them part of a personal joy. Debaser is often violence, but the underlying idea is, above all, free sharing and exchange of opinions. In this sense, Hal is one of the most immense people on the site. This is my thought, not an absolute law.

Just think that Pat and Enrico were put there as fillers and benchwarmers for Fiorello!?!?!?! Honestly, it's enough to send you to intensive care! Next time will they have Joe Zawinul play as a benchwarmer instead of DJ Francesco???!?!?!?! The ways of the Lord are infinite, dear Hal. And thank goodness for that :).

let me have a little advertisement... if you like Sigur, try listening to the very Italian Nosound, who are quite good. You'll find a review of mine, but above all the samples (to get an idea). You might discover an excellent album. :) Advertising and progress :D

I’d love to know what you think. Thanks anyway Toti...yes, I know the cover, actually do you want the truth? They stole it right from under my nose!!! GRR! :)

Speaking of Sigur, has anyone of you ever listened to the elusive Von? How is it?

I know you’re going to criticize me for this, but when talking about the German scene in a broad sense, I would also mention Lacrimosa, Ophelia's Dream, Ash Ra Temple, Faust (the last two are German, right Kosmo? That's how I remember it) and Popul Vuh. Nothing else comes to mind at the moment... well, I’ll think about it a bit... if not, you can remind me in September :P
