Roger Waters Amused To Death
Voto:
An album to be experienced all at once, giving you a headache trying to translate the lyrics and paying close attention to what they express, because Waters is a keen observer of reality and possesses the gift of foresight. A hymn to human idiocy "....this species that enjoys death....". Beyond Momentary Lapse of Reason and Division Bell, it seems that in this album the soul of Pink Floyd is locked away, less experimental but certainly more "theatrical". In short? A MASTERPIECE.

very interesting what you write... it makes my mouth water. Would you put up some samples? Are they easy to find around? Hi

Odra didn't want to be a critique but rather a compliment towards you. You are interesting for what you profess and how you profess it. You responded with respect to the "friend," and that places you on a higher level. I share the spirit with which you read debaser. Perhaps I too should let things slide more often (see in other reviews like Raiz). In fact, that's what I will do. With sincere affection... friend Odra. :)

Eastern Europe, and particularly Poland (dear to me because of my girl), has a rock scene that is certainly not inferior to the Anglo-American one. I don’t know the band, but I agree with you... once you go, you have to go with empty suitcases! If you can, post some samples. Bye!

I can't say if they're better than the Bahu, that depends on personal taste, but it's definitely a great album.

how much it pisses me off the phrase "no longer in print"... it's like a interrupted intercourse!!!! UFF. I'll have to search through all the markets in Rome to find it... in the meantime, Caz, get that sample to us! PS: very detailed review although I prefer you in full-on joking mode, you know, when I laugh so hard that my stitches come undone in my mouth!!

Here you go, you start insulting again. My thoughts have not been conveyed to you, nor my political faction. Every time I respond to you, you catalog me... and this is undeniably a limitation on your part. My way of thinking is not dictated by a faction, as you would like. It is simply the result of my personal journey. Elections can sometimes mean very little, and people can be indoctrinated as needed. I agree that in those countries there hasn’t been free election, but that doesn’t mean the people in those countries prefer something different. In reality, people have always wanted good governance, and it matters little the form it takes, does it not? History will help us understand how things will unfold, for now, it seems to me that it is already on the right path; war is not proving to be the solution to the problem, but rather seems to fuel it (read Madrid, read London, read the state of fear we find ourselves in today). I won't convince you of what you don't believe; I have only expressed my thoughts that you seem to be seeking. Don't insult me for this and don't call me ignorant; I won't do that just because you disagree with my perspective.
