beautiful cd. The prog of the 70s was something unique, not easy to listen to but definitely well executed and well played. Hans’ carriage remains for me the most beautiful piece by PFM... when it comes to taste... By the way, I’ve heard Dracula and, in my opinion, it’s a little gem! I'm going to review it now! :)
David Sylvian Dead Bees On a Cake

I love this album. It's not a CD to listen to often because Sylvian requires the right state of mind. Sylvian continues his ascetic journey in an ancestral dimension that only he knows how to present. The whole album feels like a deep "Ohm" rising from the depths; it's prayer in a time of war. Mari, try listening to the Roman band Epsilon Indi (you can find some tracks on their website to download), Nosound, David Torn, Giardini di Mirò, and the Talk Talk of Spirit of Eden... you should like them. Kisses :)

Nice and interesting proposal. I don't know anything about the group, I need to catch up!! Anyway... it's important to know that you exist :) ... you know how it is if we just can't find each other!!! :)

Everyone speaks very highly of this work. Speaking of post-rock, I've also heard good things about the Japanese band MOMO... does anyone have any concrete news on that? Anyway, EITS have been on my waiting list for a long time. Ciauz :)

Thank you for the suggestion, Giov. Do you know where I can take out a loan to buy the records you recommended? :)

Ok, I managed to get it. Really interesting album. In the middle, I see a lot of Ozric Tentacles. Fantastic disc with a hypnotic and deep bass (just the way I like it) perfectly fused with the drums. When the rhythm locks in perfectly, you can layer anything on top and the album still sounds great. It's worth noting the excellent recording of this second work. The first CD remains a masterpiece in my opinion. It's a shame this band died before it could fully bloom... we've truly lost a lot. The individual members have embarked on solo careers. This time, the rating is for confirmation :)

On reality shows: Josi, you find me on your wavelength. Italian reality shows vs the rest of the world remains the fact that there is a distortion and a sensationalism that differ from reality. But everything is deeply calculated. The crude pleasure of spying on two people having sexual relations and the heroin addict snorting is fine and directly proportional only to audience ratings and the induction of morbid libido. Today, we can easily camouflage pornography with reality shows, but I repeat, reality is different. Instead, a game is perpetuated that distorts the reality of facts, makes them acceptable, and therefore reproducible in our daily lives. That is, we play to create a culture of consumption even concerning human deviations, sensations, and emotions. Reality shows are as damaging as dogmatism can be, where no form of thought is required. The images produce a woman who is increasingly an object (far from emancipation), and this is precisely what women reject. Yet, speaking with young people, one senses how even a couple’s relationship is aimed at a "consumption of parts" with little conviction to create something worthwhile. We travel on the tracks of individualism (on the island, some personalities stand out but do not blend with the group). What is promoted is a machismo that no longer even regards the male. Without realizing it, we are steered in this direction, it's administered in small doses and then through therapeutic persistence. The result is that we end up truly believing it! As for religion, I won’t comment, otherwise, you’ll kill me!!! :P

Indeed, Manuel, in real life there are many facets to consider (the gist of the extensive words from my monologue). As for Kosmo: even discernment is subjective, but psychology teaches us that there is conditioning and not everyone is able to be immune to it. Think of the great mass suicides or the ability of a single individual to convince themselves they are someone else (authors from the past have written about this as well). You’re right to talk to me about young people blowing themselves up as a reward, but this does not pertain to our Western culture. You confirm, in fact, that this choice of life is, for us, deplorable, embarrassing, and incomprehensible (you indeed speak of exorcising it). Even though in the Western world there are young suicides, they see the end as a haven of peace.

even the end is twisted. The end of our reality is death. In the other, it’s a cash prize. Yes, because the ending, whatever it may be, cannot be unpleasant! The happy ending is embedded in our culture. Today on the radio I heard that the problem in Iraq is corruption!!! CORRUPTION!!! In Iraq, there has been a massacre, still ongoing, of civilians and so on. But the TV gradually diverts attention and presents the democratic elections of a free country. HAPPY ENDING, everyone is happy even if they're Muslim. Just like on the island, "democracy" is its splendid prize. Life must seem challenging, but in the end, you must win! Or at least someone will win! In our reality, can you know who will win? Try asking yourself that?
