Porcupine Tree Coma Divine - Live in Rome
Voto:
Hi, well I'd prefer Sky moves sideways... in my opinion, the true masterpiece of PT. I don't review them because I'd be too biased! Anyway, if you like them, take a look at: Indukti (album "susar"), RPWL (album "world through my eyes"), Nosound (album "sol 29" very Italian), Riverside (album "out of me") and even though they are slightly different, Omnia Opera (album "red shift"). For all of these, there are both reviews and samples... take a look! :)
Porcupine Tree Voyage 34
Voto:
This album is almost entirely performed, in its original form, by none other than Steven Wilson himself. The record is a true clone of Pink Floyd's music, where the guitar riffs are lifted straight from Gilmour's scores. The CD was created with the intent to amaze, as the good SW pretended to be a psychedelic band from the '70s that had escaped critical attention and was rediscovered through the "voyage." It attracted so much attention that the subsequent album will, in every sense, be the colossal masterpiece of PT (the sky moves sideways), where SW will indeed be joined by the band. The CD is very psychedelic and not really essential. However, this review is a bit brief; a few more words wouldn’t have hurt. :)

Harrison is certainly good, but the PT have lost a lot since the departure of a true talent and a creative mind like Maitland. Listen to Coma Divine to believe. :)

Rock on, try to listen to something by Porcupine Tree (even from the latest: Deadwing) and let me know what you think. I would add Omnia Opera (red shift), RPWL, Ubi Maior (Italian), Sig V (Italian as well), Anathema (a natural disaster), The Pineapple Thief, Indukti, Riverside, Nosound. You will find reviews with samples or the site where you can download music. Check it out. Bye Logic

From the internet, I learn that the cover of CCCP is on the latest album released under the name of Technogod, namely UNDO. The band, it seems, then continued under false pretenses, also releasing some valuable albums... but I don't remember the name (read Alzheimer). Of the Bolognese, I only own 2000 Below Zero, an incredibly intense album but no longer in my playlists, and a lasagna alla bolognese that’s waiting to be eaten.... :)

Awesome! Gasoline man literally drives me crazy (I start bouncing like a madman!!!! very Pink Floyd electric version). I denied the existence of this overly double CD and I immediately rush to its tracks. Dear smash, do you know if the CD is easily available? Gimmie something skin somenthing like the flowers!

Beautiful album, as they say psycho pop-psychedelic yes, BUT WITH CLASS. There are still reservations about the vocal range, which at times becomes shrill and off-key (nun gliela fa a cantà). For me, it's still a great masterpiece.
