Guys, take a look at Stefano Panunzi's "Timelines"... a true Italian Sylvian. :)

Liga has the merit of overshadowing Italian music. This is my comment! It’s not the only one, mind you. He proposes a repetitive easy rock, with a repetitive voice and lyrics that are only occasionally interesting. There’s talk of MTV, but these characters feed the ratings of MTV... how to say... the same company, the same top of the pops. It’s a shame because Italian Music deserves much more attention than is given to these infamous "flag bearers." It’s a shame because in Italy there are genuinely deserving people, creative, experimental, musically advanced. Today, on the contrary, one settles for the assembly line of the do chord shuffle with sometimes embarrassing lyrics! It’s a shame because for every "rich Ligabue" passing through, a Stefano Panunzi stays home outside the music circuits. It’s a shame not to find in print "contamination" from Rovescio della Medaglia and to find all of Liga’s flatulence instead. It’s a shame that the Sig V have to dissolve, that Nosound struggles to find space on the radio, that the Stereokimono are practically unknown, that the Finisterre languish in oblivion, and so on, what a shame. It’s a shame that musical horizons have to expand with Ligabue who, on the contrary, offers nothing to expand (but chases after a wildly abused template). Nice review, but your enthusiasm is hardly shareable. A hug.

I would love to hear it, even though I fully agree that "You all look..." is the last truly interesting album of the band. However, if you think about it, you'll realize that when a band digs into the '70s (see various Floydisms), it's a sign that their creative vein is already in decline (so they resort to impactful past ideas). What a pity. It's also a pity for Noise; not everything is to be forgotten, but you listen to it with a yawn on your lips, like the kind one has when seeing a film of which they've already read the book. What a pity.

Guys, in my opinion, the rating makes little sense. Overall, what matters is who is writing the review. Let me give you an example: if "little Vasco" only listens to Vasco Rossi, then for her, he is the top of music (I write this in respect of both little Vasco and Vasco... just to be clear, without wronging anyone). To you (ajeje), as the reader, what does a full 5 suggest? In reality, when reading reviews, the emotional as well as the technical aspect of the reviewer counts a lot, especially when you share tastes and writing style based on previous readings. The numerical aspect is just a boomerang that can come back as a weapon to the one who threw it. If Francis reviews Robbie Williams saying he’s brilliant and gives a 1 to Jeff Buckley, how do you view that? It’s clear that in an open container of reviews, many of which are repeated to the point of absurdity, there’s a search for the signature and fame that one has earned, and above all, there’s an effort to engage in dialogue with him to understand if the album might be of interest or not. This is the meaning of these replies to be made directly with the author of the piece. It’s not little, and above all, it holds more value than a numerical code. Bye

Yes, it’s the only one that is still available... (I confess it's the site where I spend the most :P). The thing is I wanted to gift it for the 12th of last month and all the stores in the capital told me it was out of print. That’s when I got BTF into action! But in the end, it costs more. Oh well. Thanks anyway :)

True, but just out of sheer curiosity, try to buy it... they will tell you it's out of stock! I know because I wanted to give it as a gift!! :(

Odra... what can I say. Promoted with flying colors and honors with an academic kiss. Now, however, I'm going to hit you. Do you want to know why? For two reasons:
1- I have a mortgage to pay, and if you keep reviewing high-caliber albums, I'm afraid I'll have to start dealing to keep up with you!
2- I don't have the time to listen to them because of work!
Aside from that, I greet my friend Hal, as always a gem in this ethereal place, and I'm adding this B-side review to my favorites. Odra... practically a legend :)

Odra, what a fantastic idea you had! I'd say it's a true "progressive" review :) I don’t know the album in question, but you’ll agree, it’s hard to keep up with the '70s that produced such brilliant music that has spread like "the spores of mushrooms carried by the wind" (quote: Italo Calvino "Marcovaldo"). Don’t tarnish this little masterpiece with controversies that, in my opinion, overshadow such a beautiful page of Deb. % to the review and among my favorites :)

Another review that escaped my eye... Superb album! How can someone who listens to the Black album say that this music is pop? Perhaps they forget that we are in the '70s, and this is where music takes shape and anticipates many of today's bland offerings that all sound the same. I also wanted to mention the splendid Contaminazione by Rovescio della Medaglia, an excellent record that once again features the figure of Bacalov. Another masterpiece waiting to be rediscovered... as soon as they decide to reissue it!!!

Regarding the excellent combination of Italian prog and Bacalov, there are still 2 albums to consider, namely Contaminazione by Rovescio della Medaglia (beautiful) and Milano calibro 9 by Osanna. The first one I mentioned remains the preferred purchase along with the concerto grosso.
