by the way Pulp try to download this beautiful album from this Finnish band at this link (it's not illegal) ... considering that it's free, it’s a must-have!

Hi Pulp, I haven't had a chance to listen to it. Even though I haven't been reviewing for a while, I'm still discovering beautiful Italian music. Thanks for stopping by :)

Nice album and perhaps an intriguing fusion with their past. It's an appendix to FOABP and you can feel it. However, contrary to what many think, I'm glad these tracks were left out. The reason? Because FOABP is truly powerful. With the exception of the first track, the album is really the masterpiece of recent times. Nil Recurring is, in fact, an epilogue to FOABP and a record that should be considered unique.

I honestly don't believe that Wilson intends to affiliate himself with prog metal. It's clear that he makes decent use of it to highlight certain moments of the album rather than to seek out a driving riff. The musical intensification arrives as an exploit in a sonic upsurge, only to fade almost immediately. In truth, these latest works are the children of Signify and not of In Absentia, because it’s that album that brought Wilson closer to certain sonorities (listen carefully to that little gem). Throughout FOABP, the metal interludes barely reach 4 minutes while the album lasts 50! That's why I claim that Wilson uses metal not as a sound exploration but as an insertion into a concept to emphasize a compositional value. However, I don't believe that prog metal will be Wilson's ultimate destination. Among all his projects, he is sacrificing the PT towards music that may be more accessible, but what talent he has, guys! Some compositions are truly brilliant.

Hi Pulp, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. But you know, many people only gravitate toward groups that have a lot of visibility...simply because they’re bombarded by certain sources of information funded by the majors. Never stop searching for new talent...if you think about it, it's the most delicious aspect of music :)

Great is Pink Moon located near Piazzale della Radio (they're a bit rough but they keep up with you). I'm sending you the link: PinkMoonRecords.com :) Currently, I'm buying online because the music I'm looking for just isn't found in stores. I go directly to the artist's website (lately only Italians (I'm getting stubborn about searching for quality Italian music and I'm actually finding it)). Listen to Nosound with the samples on my review and let me know what you think (not about the review, those are just words) of his music. Ciauuuuuz

PULP: congratulations, a beautiful page is turning out despite some differences in taste and opinions (but that's natural). If you like this type of music, check out the discography of Porcupine Tree (true pioneers), then add "A Natural Disaster" by Anathema and "SOL29" by the very Italian Nosound (you'll find a review with samples, mine :P on Debaser) which is very post-rock but with dark atmospheres. Then if you really feel like it, take a look at "Timelines" by Stefano Panunzi (my review...go publicity!!!! :D) and Martin Gretch. Alright, get to work :)

complex record, good intentions but in practice the experiment loses an essential element: the music itself. Undoubtedly fun for those who played it, but it quickly gathered dust on my shelves! It's a shame that genius, often twisting upon itself, ends up being even annoying.
