Federico has somewhat stagnated when it comes to the lyrics, always women women women, yet I’m crazy about this group. Even though I don’t often listen to this album, there are still great things to be found here (the best song for me is also "questo ragazzo"). This album deserves to be bought, even just out of respect for this great ARTIST.

What a negative review... I bought the album for one of his concerts in Milan and I must say that the album is not that terrible. Sure, it’s a very intimate album, but there are still some interesting ideas in it; it’s not a masterpiece, but it’s more than sufficient. Maybe it’s because I think highly of Federico, but I don’t find the album that bad.

"In Faccia" (the latest solo album) is a really good CD; don't be misled by the opening single "Tribu." Give it a listen and then tell me if it's past its prime. For me, it's the turning point album—it's a small turning point, but an important one. It has shown that Piero is still here... though everything is up for debate anyway.

These are not comments, they are just insults.
Anyway, this album is partially quite bad; "Marrakesh Serenade" and "Perfetto Difettoso" are probably the worst. Luckily, in the first part of the album, we can find some good things.
It's a debut album and so there are bound to be some mistakes. With the other albums (excluding U.D.S.), we'll get to see the real Piero.

I am a fan of Piero but this album is quite bad, "amore immaginato" and "gatte e topi" are vomit-inducing! Worth mentioning instead is "a la vida," fortunately Piero will bounce back with "soggetti smarriti" but especially with "in faccia."

Surely Piero has made a step forward compared to U.D.S. I agree with what Nick says, that there are some less successful episodes, but it never reaches the levels of ugliness of the previous albums. I don't agree, however, when he says that "prendemi cosi" is one of the best on the album; for me, the best tracks are "esco o resto," "anche a piedi," and "dea musica."

Without a doubt, "In faccia" is the best of Piero's solo albums (and I must say I like it a lot), probably also thanks to Saverio Lanza, and for me, it deserves to be listened to.
