Frank Zappa Over Nite Sensation
Voto:
Alright, a classic from the more "pop" side of Zappa. But above all, I completely agree on Grand Wazoo, a masterpiece of cosmic proportions.

Ah Muffin, what world do we live in...
Scorpions Love At First Sting

1) It's hard to say that Scorpions play/played heavy metal. I would call it more hard rock. 2) From Blackout (included) onwards, it's all a senseless and soulless commercial venture. Pick up albums like "In Trance," "Virgin Killer" (their masterpiece, in my opinion), or "Taken by Force," and then tell me...

@madcat: typical Debaserian ignorance. Those who hate the author/album consequently hate the reviewer... What a surprise. _ What I wanted to say, in response to Savickas, is that just because (let's admit it...) Zero is superior to the rest of the sh*t produced in Italy, it doesn't mean he deserves a 5 anyway. Just as Rossi, Ramazzotti, and Ligabue deserve less than 1, Zero deserves a low score too, not as low as theirs, but still low. Good Italian music is now left to underground bands that no one knows; the rest is practically all garbage. Zero included, despite being a respectable artist.

I listened to something a few days ago on their Myspace. Interesting, but they didn't convince me. Anyway, I think I'll see them live in May.

I give the rating because I listened to the album, not out of bias.
Frank Zappa Sleep Dirt

Oh, well done. I was afraid you wouldn't mention the vinyl/CD difference story. Excellent, but the instrumental version definitely beats the one after, if only because it highlights the quality of the compositions better. I might be mistaken, but I believe it’s the only entirely instrumental album, apart from the “classical” works with the LSO and The Yellow Shark.
Frank Zappa You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore, Vol.2

No no. Good job. You mentioned correctly the most acclaimed chapter of the YCDDOSA series. Zappa and the others, always immensISSIMI.

Immense, but not as much as Spiderland (a masterpiece of all music), I feel like giving it a 4. To an album that is still really beautiful.
