Okay, I don’t mean to say that prog is completely DEAD there; let’s just say that the tradition passed down since ’69 has withered. For this, I could mention the three albums by Camel (whom I adore), from ’74 to ’76. Rush, too, arrived late but quickly caught up. There have always been good albums and exceptions, but certainly, before ’74, the fundamental milestones of the movement were established.

Different, yes, but they maintain the King Crimson tradition, which is not to push for prog at all costs, but rather to constantly vary and improve, without flaws (and the early CDs don't have those). Let's say that they were the symbol of prog, especially at its inception, and that Red marked the end of the game for quite all the bands.

Yes dear. I'm just starting to appreciate The Lamb (and it’s a struggle), while Discipline is one of the ugliest albums I've ever heard: from that point on, don't come to me saying that "Beat" or "Three of a Perfect Pair" (although decent) are "King Crimson albums."

Scarsina the review. Immense (practically only in my opinion) the album. And Conjugal Burns is certainly not the best track: I would say that Metatron or Cavalettas overshadow it significantly.

No, this is not the album that ended prog. Let's say the premises were there, but prog really died the following year, in '74. Just think of Relayer (the swan song of Yes), The Lamb (the death of Genesis), and Red (the last great album of the wave and the death, alas, of King Crimson).

But thank you! I miss the solo Frith, so I'll get this little disc now. This man has truly done great things.

Not yet heard. But it’s there, indeed. The name is a guarantee. Just like yours. (Regards, Zòrnei)
